Guler should 100% be the first prop dropped but he is slowly becoming our second prop - got more minutes than papa last week and will probably start soon

Well, that's good.
Add Mooney or Horse for Saulo would have been better.
But I'll take that.

Hors, Mooney in for Saulo and EW and that’s our best side probably

Agree. Maybe there’s more than meets the eye there.
He’s one of the first names on the team sheet when fit and in the staff’s good books, surely

Dropped or injured? Unusual not to even be in the extended squadLimeGreenMachine wrote: ↑March 26, 2024, 3:02 pm Knock me down with a feather.
Wow. No Hoppa or Guler.
I like it though, I agree with the above, it's a more pro-GH and pro-Cup form team. Good to see Mooney climbing the ranks

We’re bloody close! In what universe is Whitehead more effective in a squad than Horse with a Mule on the bench.
Guler played his biggest minutes last week so strange reasoning but my god I love it. Also excited to see what Schiller can do - would love to see Mooney in for a late inclusion but I think it will be 1-17 which is fine

He's admitted that he trained poorly in the off-season knowing he was going to miss the first few rounds.
If anything he should've done the opposite and trained the house down.
Definitely done on purpose by Sticky as a lesson - he'll be back.

Hoppa must have a bday bash to attend.
Stick will hold his spot.

It's about time that Hoppa and Guler were not selected. Schiller and Ata have more upside.
Still don't understand why Horse, a current SOO Qld rep, cannot make the team. If Hosking is in the starting 13, Horse can replace Whitehead or Saulo on the bench.

Horse and Mooney should be in the team (bench).
Whitehead should be dropped...i don't understand how he is ahead of Hosking or anyone else in that forward pack to be honest...
But yeah, our coach will never.

Mooney is ahead of Horse on the reserves list. Would love to see Mooney come in for Saulo to really set the cat among the pidgeons for roster shakeup.

There will be no excuses for losing the middle on Sund night.
The Sharkies are well down on forwards.

We should really beat the Sharks. They are light in the forwards and their bench isn't good. But then again we should have beaten the Warriors after 4 FG players were out

I’m hopeful this is the beginning of a forward rotation and we see Trey Mooney given a start and him and Ata become too good to drop… then they re-sign him
Re: 2024 Rd 4 v Sharks: Teams and Previews
Sticky has gone for a faster side wth ATA in for Guler and Schiller in for Hoppa over Cotric. Kris was always going to get his spot back.

After his efforts for us last year Horsburgh should be a walk up start in our 17 every week when available.

Have faith GH. Cotric straight up not good enough for NRL. I expect Hors to be in the squad on gameday if he is fit.
Re: 2024 Rd 4 v Sharks: Teams and Previews
Getting close to the best team we can field.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.
Re: 2024 Rd 4 v Sharks: Teams and Previews
Was Hoppa cooking at Schillers house?
At least Ata is there, he can play big minutes so hopefully EW plays his honorary 20 and then doesn't come back unless there's an injury.

Exactly my thoughts
A good step in the right direction
Hopefully Schiller makes the most of his chance and ends the Hoppa fiasco once and for all
If this time next week we can get Hors in there for Saulo and Mooney in there for EW, I’ll make a pledge to not post again about Danny Levi

Hoppa suffered a minor burn after reading this forum.
Mooney in for saulo and horse in for EW on game day (EW has to talk to rick and let him know its ok to let him go…)
