Important thing is that we make this a good week for Rick... makes sure we honour him the right way... the competition points arent important on occasions like this.

Surely we stand him down from coaching duties this week so we can celebrate his 250 in Canberra.

Might have helped if we’d played Canterbury last week. The WGD is there now

Well done to Sticky. He might frustrate with some of his decisions but nobody cares about the club more and he really has got it into a much better spot than it was before he showed up.

The man bleeds green. Congratulations on the 250. Hope the 300 next year is in Canberra.

No other club would have kept him on this long...

And yes, I don't actually dislike him, but you know it's true.

Congratulations, Ricky.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

He’s not standing down until the next home game?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

That’s a big milestone.

Hats off to the great man - despite my criticisms, something I have never questioned is how much he cares about the club. And to still be fronting up with enthusiasm 11 years into doing the same job is worth acknowledging, you just don’t see that often, in any industry.

Congratulations Ricky.

I was initially quite sceptical of his appointment. There has been some ups and downs, but on the whole I think he's been good for the club.

We all have our opinions on team selections, use of the bench and tactics. Taking a step back, he has been innovative in his recruitment to the extent we seriously competed for a couple of premierships. We are now, what I believe to be, back on track with our pipeline of junior development.

These systems take years and years to implement. Credit to Ricky and the club for persisting with a genuine strategy to make this club relevant.

Congratulations to Ricky.

I’ve had regular frustrations with several facets of his coaching but he’s done so much for the club and deserves some recognition for this achievement.

Yep - let’s hope we taste a little more success in his next 250 and the 250 after that :thumbsup

Congratulations on 250 games Sticky. Another milestone match and another loss. JC's 300th was a loss. Here's hoping Rapa can have some success this week for his 200th game with the Raiders and Papa when his 300th Raiders match comes around later this season.
