Pretty sure there was an article saying he could have represented either. Mum is Māori and absent father is Aboriginal but his Auntie has been teaching him about the Aboriginal culture.

The Australian Indigenous team has just beaten the Maori outfit, 7-3 in the touch football match. Next up, the women's teams meet. Kick off is at 5:50pm.
