Cook with the ball on a string.. Cook cross field kick to Waitere sees him cross in the corner. It comes from a power set off the restart

24th min TRY RAIDERS TO Manaia Whatere. He takes the most absolutely perfect kick to the goal line from Cook on the full. It follows a kick ahead from Woolford regathered by Spencer. Converted Cook.

Awful defence
Dunno if Schiller has a long fg career in him but he always looks a cut above at this level

29th min TRY RAIDERS to James Schiller. His second, he just breaks through some weak defence on a scrum play. Converted Cook.

Colour commentator was right to point out his impact on creating the space for Cook and Spencer to get that try
Nice line and pass still from those players
Hahaha holy ****, just found out the “colour commentator” is none other than Mark Carroll.

I actually genuinely thought it sounded like a spud, now I have confirmation.

Haha yeah I was quite shocked it was Spud
Makes sense that the only decent commentary he’s made was about a front rower lol

Raiders go the length.. Asomua defuses a grubber on his own in goal, bursts through into the back field and finds Stewart in support who runs 50 to score

Raiders 28-0 kick to come

37th min TRY RAIDERS to Chevy Stewart. SENSATIONAL! Michael Asomua made the break deep inside Canberra territory and he had less speed than we thought he might. But Stewart was backing up and they couldn’t catch him. Adam Cook converts.

Before they confirmed who it was I was thinking “who is this brain dead **** it sounds like they got straight out of the front bar at the Royal?“

And now we know

Mooney with 150 metres in that half.

I struggle to recall a better middle at NSW cup level who has played as well for an extended period and not got a decent crack at first grade.

Some very good signs for the Raiders future in this game.

Cook looks like he could do a job filling in for the Fog

Chev is looking amazing, great to see that pace.

Schiller is putting some serious pressure on Hoppa and Cotric. He does not look big but he seems to be a strong player with some nice pace and skill.

Mooney is having a game. Hopefully we can get him locked up soon.

Schiller is a first grader. He reminds me of Rapana. No super athlete but can do almost anything on his day.

It’s a huge mismatch this game.

Will actually be disappointing if they don’t continue to utterly dominate.

42nd min TRY MAGPIES to Heath Mason. Not a great tackle attempt from Chevy Stewart, and once he was past Stewart there was no stopping him. Converted Alex Lobb.
