Well it’s a reserve grade Melbourne side but they’ve got some really talented young outside backs. Good game so far even with all the big names out

Hahahaha. Broncos score a try after player runs through and takes out the fullback contesting the ball. No penalty. You couldn't write this stuff.

Haha I thought for sure it would get pulled back. Didn’t even look at it.

Next set Broncos get a penalty for an escort when it looked like the Storm player got tackled in the air. Broncos getting all the calls just like last week

Tristan Sailor looks a good player. Can run, can pass.

Dodgy sin bin though. Sailor jumped onto the ground to make it look like a second effort from the Storm player.

Especially when in the previously play just before the kick, Broncos got away with a blatant second effort which should have resulted in a set restart to Storm.

It’s disgraceful what’s going on out there. The NRL should intervene and tell the clubs all this resting is not in the spirit of the game and not what our supporters or broadcasters expect. They should tell clubs trying this stunt that they’ll send in independent doctors to assess the fitness or otherwise of players… and then tell them they’ll sacrifice competition points from not complying with the decisions. Both clubs collude… no points for either club. We’ll take competition points away for refusing to field a competitive team.

Why should clubs do anything differently? Long term gain for them, bettering their chances at a Premiership. We'd do the exact same if we were in a better position and as a coach that's the right decision. They've earned the right to do what they want.

It's the NRL who is to blame. Have all games played simultaneously like in the EPL in England. Adds amazing drama, avoids collusion. Or do what the AFL do with a weekend break.

The clubs should do something differently because the NRL should tell them it’s not on.

Not in the slightest bit interested in giving the AFL a free run at a weekend. I’m sure the AFL and AFL supporters would love it if we did.

Playing games simultaneously? How would that be beneficial to the broadcasters or the game (it minimises the audience)?

It just takes a bit of strong leadership from the NRL and broadcasters making clear, this garbage isn’t on.

You can’t seriously say that those players produced better product than the top squads for both teams.

That was denied to the paying public, the broadcasters, the people who pay for STV. Unconscionable.

I can say they produced a better game of football than 6-7 NRL football teams
Comfortably

Sit down and **** relax. It’s round 27 and these teams are doing what is in the best interests of their club.
You’ll survive, I promise you, you’ll get to Sunday and you’ll be ok.
In fact maybe you’ll ever know a little bit more about the young kids who will shape the game of the future

Consider it a training day. The teams earned the right to manage this week as they see fit
