Canberra Raiders sign rising star Regan Carr before Erindale College aim to end 24-year schoolboy drought

The Canberra Raiders have earmarked Regan Carr as a star of the future, but the teenager is on a mission to end a 24-year drought for Erindale College in the National Schoolboys Cup before he launches his NRL career. His form sparked speculation he was going to join the Wests Tigers when he finished school, but the Raiders have swooped to keep him in Canberra.

The Erindale College NRL Schoolboys success story this year is made even more remarkable by the sacrifices a number of their squad have had to make. Winger Jack Clutterbuck is one of a few players who have moved from Western Australia, while second rower Noah Martin moved from Narooma.
