40th min TRY BLUES to Brian To'o in the corner. Scored against 12 men, the winger has the overlap out wide. Nathan Cleary gets the conversion from the sideline.
New South Wales Blues 14
Queensland Maroons 12

It's another cracking game. Shame the ref isn't up to the same standard.

Keep giving away deliberate penalties and you get what you deserve. Klein showing some guts there finally.

Re: 2022 State of Origin II: Blues V Maroons
Good to see Klein develop a spine and do something about the repeat offenses
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Klein waited 35 minutes to start policing the ruck and pulls out a sin bin, cool

I don’t think they’ve got a big call right yet! Both sides getting baffling callsNorthern Raider wrote: ↑June 26, 2022, 8:40 pm It's another cracking game. Shame the ref isn't up to the same standard.
But somehow the score line reflects the game so far imo

He's all over the shop. No consistency. Although it is consistent with how he refs at NRL level.

What a fast and entertaining match. The first half has flown by. 14-12 to the Blues and every player having a crack.

Next 10 min while Kaufusi is off will be critical. NSW score again they will be hard to peg back. QLD hold on then anything could happen for the remainder.

Re: 2022 State of Origin II: Blues V Maroons
The Blues have had 56 per cent of possession in the first half. The have the slightly better completion rate (86-83 per cent). The Blues have almost 200 more running metres. The penalties are 4-4, but the Blues have received five set restarts, the Maroons none.
Josh Papalii was given only 17 minutes in the first half. Three runs for 22 metres, eight post contact, one offload, 12 tackles.
The teams are back out. Maroons kick off, we are back underway.

Absolutely. Already a better coach by a considerable margin one and a half games in. I'll be surprised if he doesn't succeed Bellamy in Melbourne.

46th min ERROR BLUES Forward pass from Crichton from dummy half to Paulo, a metre out. The Maroons did well to hold on in the red zone after a Cobbo error.

Not a good look for Gagai or Namai

They are talking about fatigue but it was a bad miss by Nanai who's only been on 8 min.
