Raps will get about 3 weeks for that shoulder charge though.

Frawley in fogarty out
Re: 2022 Rd 14 V Broncos: Teams and Previews
I want to see more of Trey Mooney
I dont think ill get it with a couple of forwards coming back into the picture, but he looked very comfortable in FG in limited time

Very annoying. You can understand a young guy being a little underdone in his first nrl game and getting gassed after 10 minutes so give him 10-15 minutes before and after half time. Give them a real taste.Botman wrote:I want to see more of Trey Mooney

Sutton was solid af, but want more of Mooney and Rushton. Mooney not given the minutes he should have, so lean towards him. CHN helps fill a void if size in the middle becomes an issue, whilst also being the ‘back’ bench

I cant remember who it was, might have even been Young? But he came on and the guy was a dog chasing the ball, just ran everywhere and was completely cooked after 10 minutes. But that's not uncommon... Mooney looked totally in control of his energy and his play, he was defending well and with discapline, and his carries were strong, he should have seen more minutes imo

Yeah bench is where the interesting call will be. I assume CHN is back in favour and will fill that versatile role on the bench. Can never quite tell when Ricky has a bee in his bonnet about someone though.Green Machine 2011 wrote: ↑June 5, 2022, 7:20 pm 1. Xavier Savage

Sutton was impressive. Mooney and Rushton haven't put a foot wrong but I see Ricky going back to Sutton. Should he though? With Sutton and Elliot going we'll be better off the more games we can put into Mooney and Rushton.

I agree 100%, but we also need to be real, regardless of them leaving and whatever we think about their personal life decisions, Elliot and Sutton have both been solid as ****.BadnMean wrote: ↑June 5, 2022, 7:29 pmYeah bench is where the interesting call will be. Do we try for the finals with those 2 with intermittent injection of Mooney or Rushton? Or do we go all in on the younguns?
I don’t get paid enough to answer that. Experience is a thing, but experience is only gained by playing. Catch 22

Yeah - although Raps did get put on report for a stray boot lashing out in a tackle that split a rooster head. I only saw one replay but thought there was absolutely nothing in it. I say he gets off no fine, points or anything. Was curious that he was put on report from a call by the bunker though. Maybe they have another angle?Finchy wrote: ↑June 5, 2022, 7:35 pmFair go it all, I knew this one smelled fishy. I don’t see the need to name 17 players for next weeks game!!
Ricky should just name 15, the other 2 can go play nsw cup

Anyone think Rapana will have something come from that "stray boot"
I have to say it looked fairly deliberate on replay... not sure if it'll amount to anything but i think it's probably worth a fine? And he has priors that upgrade that, he might be up for a game.

Well I saw it wrong- I genuinely thought there was nothing in it but the fact the bunker reviewed it and called it in probably doesn’t bode well for him.

Agreed on CHN in for the back on the bench. He covers centre and adds a point of difference to the forward rotation.

I'm not sure CHN will have cleared his COVID time out by next Saturday.
I reckon Rapa will be lucky if he only gets a fine. Contact with the head.

I thought Rapa lashed out because a Roosters player came in late from behind and targeted his knee. It wasn’t a classic cannonball tackle but it seemed close enough. Not sure if that will (or even should) be taken into account. Hopefully he gets away with a fine.

If he's lashed out and hit someone in the face surely that's case closed, isn't it?
Doesn't really matter what he's TRYING to hit, if you lash out with your boot and kick someone in the face that's pretty cut and dry for mine.

Yep, me too.
Thought he looked great.
It's strange, this season has gone in the direction I wanted it to go .....all be it by chance rather than good planning.
I've enjoyed seeing all the young guy's get a run and have no issues with our place on the ladder to be fair.
Only thing I'd like to see more of is better attack....the chop and change of personnel hasn't helped this.
Joey T has been immense. I hope we lock him up long term.
