This seemingly endless Matt Nable intro is bloody annoying
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Very good try for Bullemore. And the Panthers only lead by six at the break. Penrith absolutely dominant, lead 12-6.

What’s it take for the Panthers to sell out the Stadium? Round 1, season opener status, first game returning home as premiers.

Manly are shot. Panthers 24-6. To think I even changed my tip when Cleary was ruled out.

Good to see the refs don't know the rules... They have given six again's when Manly was with-in their own twenty... Isn't it meant to be a penalty?!?!?!

Manly were cruising in the trials. Unfortunately they continued to cruise tonight.

The rule is too complex. This was always going to happen. Wait till it happens in a Grand Final in a critical situation. Then the NRL will realise.

Sloane, Reece Walsh, all good to go as starting fullbacks... While we have to wait for Savage 😩 (all born within three months of each other). Can you imagine CNK supporters? "Nah we should play Mybe there... we should play Dallin WZ there..."

Oh well, I can only bemoan it so much

Other than Panthers picking up where they left off it looks very even. Melbourne got some key players to come back though.

Surprised old mate did not get 10. NRL allowed this by not punishing Collins in the trials.

Three questionable crucial calls against Titans in a row... in fact the last one clearly wrong... Amazing how often that happens to a favoured team

Feel sorry for the titans, eels player clearly searchs for a penalty by placing the ball on the titans foot and gets the penalty to level then gutherson takes a dive which gives them another penalty that puts the eels in front

It sure felt that way.

What's the go with shot clocks on penalty goal attempts? That last one took 2 minutes of game time.
