Zed has pulled ahead
For me this election is now down to hoping ALP can muster a majority and Pocock can oust Zed.
That's it.
Still hoping Dutton goes. I think Kenneally is cooked.

Dutton going would be SOOOOOOOO good.
My in laws were in his electorate before they retired to Canberra for the grandkids... they rave about him and reckon he's very loved. Im very wary of writing him off
May this be the merciful end of Kenneally. No idea why the ALP keep trying to shoehorn her in.
Frydenberg looks in a **** ton of trouble, hard to see how he gets out of it, and i think that'll be a real blow to post ScoMo plans. He seemed like he was being groomed for a election run.
If Dutton and Frydenburg are both gone, the Libs will be scratching around to produce an opposition leader.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.
Dutton would be a Liberal Shorten - effective opposition leader, but completely unelectable.

Anthony Albanese leaving home, heading to Labor HQ. He says he’s ready to serve and wants to unite the country.
Going to be hard to unite a country in which you inspired only 1/3rd of the country's primary vote

Heard of preferential voting? Australians didn’t prefer Scott Morrison and I’m pleased to see it.

Of course. Not sure of the relevance to my comment but sure! Haha

Guess you don’t get preferential voting then. But moving on…

This is where I erred in my predictions, I was positive the primary votes of both majors would be down but I was convinced the preferences would flow to the Libs
Ah well, gotta be wrong occasionally I suppose. Congrats to Albo and the Labor Party, the Australian public wanted to change and we’ve got it
Let’s hope for a positive and productive three years

Just like our old PM’s party without the coalition.
Interesting how this will play out in years to come. Can a single party rule without a coalition to cater to splintered interests? Can a coalition continue to run well as the interests within the coalitions diverge?
