Haha I'll bet old PJ is a real Three and a Half Men fan too. Just breaks into a good old belly-laugh when Charlie Sheen says "that's what she said!" and lets one rip.

I stop it 1 second early so there's no alarm but I also reset the timer cause I'm not a monster.

I don't understand why the microwave beeping sound needs to be so piercing and offensive when the food is ready, let alone when you're standing there pressing the buttons.

Out of the three shows mentioned so far, King of Queens is undoubtedly the best one.

Its funny, I was just reading an AskReddit page about which celebrities have people met that were absolute jerks. Ray Romano's name came up. The person's story was about how their kid yelled out "Hey look, Its Raymond!" and he replied something along the lines of "Hey look, an annoying kid." When the poster pulled him up about talking to his kid like that, he apparently replied "Well, you shouldn't let your kids call out to stangers. Great job dad."

Found it hard to side with the dad though

Welcome gang to another episode of Fui Flips it. This week...

Chips under the Parma
This seems to be a 50/50 split, so I'm leaving it up to the GHousos. Scenario: you're at a pub, and you've ordered yourself the house special, Chicken Parma. Your buzzer goes off, its time to collect it, and you seen they've whacked the Parma on a bed of chips.

This is where Fui Flips It. Now as a result;
A. I have to carefuly lift the Parma to move the chips out from underneath, so as to not have chopped chip on my forkful of Parma
B. Soggy Chips that were sast under the parma
C. Potentially scattered chips all over the table from failing to moving them out from under the Parma.

Either put the chips down after the Parma, or serve them in one of those mini basket things thats all the rage at the moment

I **** HATE when they put my chips under my parmi OR my steak, or any meal for that matter. First thing I do is take the **** meat back off the chips and eat the meal like a normal person.

And don't get me started on when they leave the prawn tails on!!

Its Monday, so time for another instalment of Fui Flip It. I've had a decent couple of weeks, hence this thread being quiet, but its all changed after this weekend. This week Im talking about

Odd numbered Tapas dishes

For the record, Im generally anti-odd numbers. For example, Mrs Fui gives me grief on my insistance the TV and Radio volumes need to be set on an even number. I sometimes feel an urge to take an extra step if I find I've climbed an odd number of stairs. But this is legit.

For those who have never been to a Tapas restaurant, they have share plates. You don't order a meal for yourself, you order a bunch of smaller dishes, and share with the group. The waiter who takes you to your table waxes lyrical about the beauty of Tapas. How Tapas creates this beautiful ambience that allows you and your partner to share a magical experience together.

So taking their word for it, you order your dishes. You order Empanadas, because lets face it, anyone who does Tapas and ignores the Empanadas are living a life I don't want to live. The Empanadas come out, and there's 3 of them...

You think that's an accident, and you let it go, because you see the Palenta Chips are coming. There's 5 of them...

Then just as you're wondering what the dealio is, out comes your 3 Arancini balls...

And this is where Fui Flips it. How are you creating these beautiful sharing moments, when you have odd numbered dishes?! What you are creating, is fights and awkward negotiations right in your restaurant. "Hmm, I'll let you have the Empanada, if you give me that Arancini..." That doesn't fly with me.

Good grief, sort it out. Even numbered dishes for sharing. Tell me, am I wrong?

Sure if you want. It's been a pretty quiet fortnight. Didn't really go out much. Stayed at home, did some housecleaning, parents came up. Easter rolled around as well, so nothing really happened for Fui to lose it

Honestly, if you genuinely need the TV volume to be an even number, rather than always doing that, I'd be working on dealing with it being odd occasionally if I were you.

There's no way it's healthy to be enabling that sort of behaviour in yourself.

I dunno, little stuff like that tends to lead to much bigger stuff down the road. Maybe once every few days you set it to an odd number and deal with it?
