Played for Belconnen United Sharks last weekend. Interesting Caleb Esera was also a late inclusion for Yass Magpies last Saturday.

Yeah ok. Doesn't seem like he's done a lot this season, in reggies or FG. Seems like Kaho deserves more of an opportunity on that basis.

- SG Ball v Roosters final round - Mascot Oval
- SG Ball v Dragons rescheduled round - Mascot Oval
- SG Ball v Bulldogs quarter final - Blacktown
- SG Ball v Manly semi final - Leichhardt
- SG Ball v Illawarra final - Leichhardt
(Week off)
- NSW Cup v Parramatta rescheduled round 2 - Ringrose Park

It's the Penrith vs Wests game streamed instead of ours. Looks like I'll have to dust off the wireless.

Savage looks dangerous when he runs, but I really don't think he's a fullback. Least now right now

61st TRY JETS to Siosifa Talakai. The Raiders turned down a penalty goal shot, but couldn't convert the opportunity, with a lost ball, we believe from Trey Mooney. Then it goes up the other end of the field... Luke Metcalf misses the conversion, strikes the upright. The Raiders have twice turned down penalty goal attempts.

Thoughts on a few players:

- Think Trey Mooney could be our next star middle. Modern player, seems to really fit these new rules. Fast, agile, strong. Big body, but could still put some size on. Also quite skilled, decent passer at the line. Would be surprised if he's not playing a part in FG next year

- Savage isn't a fullback

- Strong showing from Sia. Still too good for reserves

- Hudson doesn't look like an edge in first grade, and he doesn't look like one in reserves either. Was quite disappointed in his showing, outperformed by O'Donnell. He seems stuck between playing like a middle, with an edge's physique

- Not sure if Schneider is the answer here long term. Will wait and see how he develops, but atm still looks a cut under even Frawley
