Scans on Friday revealed Cotric suffered a minor syndesmosis injury, but his ankle wasn't fractured.

Given the injury and 16 days between this game and Parra, wouldn't be shocked to see him play that game before (particularly with the bye the following week).

Better to skip one game and have the full month to get right.

A 1 month injury means he'll only miss one game. That's as good a timing as you can get. With Rapana getting back to 100% and Hodgo still returning this break has worked out very well for us.

I was initially pissed that we had our bye later given our injury toll but somehow the team managed to string 3 wins together! Now things are looking much brighter. Hopefully our bad run with injuries has come to an end

Sounds highly contagious. They must have eaten at the same buffet
