Good to see Murchie get another crack, if Ricky plays him.
Weird to see Whitehead in that spot!
I was looking forward to seeing Cotric at centre as well - oh well. You on the Cosmopolitans tonight GreenGirl?
Yeah, me too - will be interesting to see if Cotric falls back to Fullback at any part of the game.
The cosmos failed me last week so i’m on the whisky creams. We got a lovely one from Sullivan’s Cove when we were in Tassie a few months ago.

You have to mix it up - I did whisky against Cronulla so decided to knock the top of a red tonight.
I'm a bit worried about that storm line up. Not too many duds amongst them.
Would like to see Lui have a big game tonight. He's been good this year but not so good the last couple of weeks.

Raiders site had the wrong final line up, corrected above. Bateman listed twice, Whitehead on the wing. Elliott to play centre.
Bateman at starting prop... cripes!

Tragically I am allergic to wine!
Storm are just so professional but we could beat them if the stars align and BJ has no brain snaps and our defence isn’t flaky. Might be too many ifs.
I like Lui off the bench - he’s got to one of the most improved over this year.

Can you make some "corrections" to the storm line up and make a few disappear..

Good to see some of the worst offenders from last week rotated out. Also good to see Murchie again.

In later years, I look forward to the conversations that will start with "Remember that time we had Luke Bateman as starting prop..."
Out of respect, we'd **** well better remember it, because Luke Bateman certainly wont.

Abbey 26.00 for 1st try. That’s big overs if he’s playing wing

What's he paying to catch his first bomb?

What happened to Oldfield?

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

The Melbourne Storm are looking for eight straight wins against Canberra...
Michael Oldfield is the player to drop out for the Raiders late, so Jack Murchie is in.
Here come the Raiders now! Led by Josh Hodgson, they make their way on to the field to a chorus of booing.

As mentioned, Soliola is at centre, with Abbey on the wing... but sensatinoally, Rapana and Leilua have moved to the opposite side of the field.
2nd min Now another penalty conceded by Luke Bateman. The Storm is going for goal. This is a horror start for Bateman.
PENALTY GOAL STORM to Cameron Smith.
Storm 2-0

Can someone explain the logic of the lineup???
Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Obviously this game is on a different rule book than the Bulldogs V Tigers game was.... Would be nice if we could go a single round with the same interpretations used...

So I guess it looks Ricky is trying some things: Cotric to FB, Abbey to Wing, Sia in the centre’s and Leipana on the other side...
