Josh Rice #21 is absolutely spent. I've never seen a player that tired
The Dunning-Kruger effect is a cognitive bias where individuals with low ability in a specific area grossly overestimate their competence. This often occurs because they lack the knowledge or skills to accurately assess their own abilities, leading to a false sense of confidence.
Re: 2017 World Cup Week 1: Teams and Game Day
30th min TRY FIJI to Kevin Naiqama. It is another very easy try. Converted by Koroisau.

Junior Vaivai disallowed a try on half time for the USA. He was out and didn't regather before re-entering the field of play.

Rugby League World Cup to host Australia’s first Feria party
The Rugby League World Cup 2017 kicks off in Canberra on Sunday October 29, 2017 with the France v Lebanon match which will also feature Australia’s first ever Feria party.
Feria parties take place every year in southern France, the traditional heartland of French Rugby League and are colourful, raucous parties that celebrate summer in outdoor bars.
A key feature is Feria dance music, drinking sangria and the traditional dress is a white shirt with a red scarf.
Rugby league World Cup France community Ambassador Lulla Demeule said: “We are thrilled to host Australia’s first Feria party and it’s a great opportunity for the wider community to sample a fun part of French culture.”
The Feria party will take place at the Southern Food Court inside Canberra Stadium starting when gates open at 2PM.
The Feria Party will feature Sangria at the Slab Bar and entertainment from the French community including DJ Dr Mendez and the ‘Bandas’ Canberra Brass Orchestra.
Lebanese Community entertainment will be provided by Zaffe traditional drumming group.
The Pool A match between France and Lebanon is a crucial match for both teams and the victor is likely to progress to the quarter finals in Hamilton New Zealand. Tournament heavyweights Australia and England are also in Pool A and the top 3 of 4 teams will progress to the quarter finals.
The match is an intriguing one as traditional Rugby League power France is ranked 5th in the world but Lebanon have 7 NRL stars available including Parramatta’s Tim Mannah, South Sydney’s Robbie Farah, Canterbury Bankstown’s Michael Lichaa and Parramatta’s Mitchell Moses.
Summary

Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Welcome to our coverage of today's Rugby League World Cup matches! We will have live scores from the ground for France V Lebanon... plus check out The GH's Instagram for pics. There are no Raiders representatives in today's matches, but former Raiders captain Terry Campese has been named for Italy at five eighth. He is battling a calf injury, so may be a late exclusion.

That's a serious Tongan team!
Whoever said something about the Aus vs England game highlights the poor state of the game at the moment, is absolutely spot on. Players sapped of individual talent, who have no interest in creating something that isn't strictly in the plan. I miss footy of the last couple of decades.

Whoever said something about the Aus vs England game highlights the poor state of the game at the moment, is absolutely spot on. Players sapped of individual talent, who have no interest in creating something that isn't strictly in the plan. I miss footy of the last couple of decades.
The players, administration and everyone involved is so short sighted and greedy. Need to make the game strong again.
The adjudication of the ruck has close to killed the game.
The Australian team is unfollowable. It’s a shame about Jake T as he was about the only likeable guy in the team.
