Favourite player, i can't split our current squad, love them all, but if you had a gun to my head, Jack Wighton.

Player that made me groan, Josh McCrone the more recent one but we've had a fair few of those over the past 20 years.

The team i love beating the most, the Roosters, however my second favourite team is any team playing against them. Hate them more than death.

You know, there are some common things which I've heard from Lurkers... which stop them from posting. But they really shouldn't stop you from joining in.

"All you people seem to know each other, and I'd feel out of place posting."

Some posters on the forum do know each other in person... but they mostly didn't before they joined The Greenhouse. A lot of people only know each other because they talk on The Greenhouse. That's one of the great things about the site... Raiders fans all over the world can talk to each other. Start posting and quickly you won't at all feel out of place.

"It's too confronting joining up and making my first post that people will disagree with."

They'll probably disagree, at least some of them. It's a forum. But it doesn't matter, it's just a forum and your views count as much as others. Don't take it to heart. I get criticised all the time for my views. And just because some people strongly express their views doesn't mean they're "right". They really don't know more about footy than you. I know I get things wrong all the time!

Hi all,

Finally caved and de-lurked.

My name is clearly not Bay 68 baby! But that's what i say to casual fans that ask where they should sit. And like on birthday cards, i never know what to write in the username field.

I come from a background playing and watching Aussie rules but was converted around 2008. Been fully converted since 2010 and a member since 2013.

Anyway, been a lurker for most of that time so i figured it was about time to stop creeping out i the shadows.

For all the women out there lurking,

I lurked for a long while before jumping in , being a female among many many guys of mixed ages was daunting at first cause we think about the game and things in general different to "blokes"

But I can promise you once you join the guys treat you the same as everyone else and many will even look after you if jokes go too "blokey" and our opinion is just as strong and valid

So any female raiders fans who want to jump in and have her say , I promise you it will be something you enjoy and you will feel a new connection to the raiders !

I was posting on facebook / zero tackle / the roar and just looking for another outlet for my insanity and stumbled across this place. Lurked for a few months and then started posting when it was clear you all needed my help.
This place is way better than any of the other online communities I've been a part of.
