I can't see I'll be able to get odds better than $1.10 on winx today

How do you bet on a $1.10 favourite? Betting a hundred to win ten is a waste of time, you have to bet at least a thousand to win a hundred, but that just seems stupid, surely?

I remember last race Winx ran someone put $100k on her at $1.10. Why would you risk $100k on those odds.

I am backing winx in an exacta with Harpers Choice. Should pay about $5

Anyone keen on NFL gambling

My picks for week 1

Alright, Bagz is back for 2017-18 NFL season.
We're going to get this right and deliver fat stacks this year, so get on board now for straight $$$$$$$$$$

Lock: Chi-town aren't going to be very good this year. I think Atlanta will be very keen to make a big time opening day statement given their last start in the SB. This CHI secondary aren't equipped to deal with this Hot-Lanta offence. 7 points is big in week 1, but Trubisky isnt going to start for a few games yet. Mike Glennon is your starting QB and there is no way he can keep up with the Falcons.

Upset: This one is a bit wild. Im expecting the Panthers to be a very good team this year, but i like the way the Niners have looked, i think they are offensively going to be a very capable team and Shanahan excels in exploiting Zone coverage with how he attacks them with route combinations. That defence is flying around a bit and making some plays. The front seven is pretty damn good. I dont have a great amount of confidence in this, hence the stake. But it's worth a flier.

Multi: Hard to do multi's in week 1, there is so much unknown. Going to keep this relatively safe. NE in the buzzsaw game opener for KC, they should win easily. PIT against the Browns and whilst that'll be closer than it should be, the Steelers will win. Atlanta will win even if they dont cover on the lock... Buffalo worry me a bit. That's two bad teams in a race to the tank, but the Jets have far less going on than Buffalo, and the Bills are also at home. Wont blame you for taking BUF out and just taking the $2.07

ROLLIN': WE BACK, BABY! WE BACK!!! We're rollin... to remind loyal readers, the aim here is to take $100 and roll it over 17 times H2H on what ever team i think is the safest, if we get to week 17 without a loss, we're going to be sitting on a fat stack of cash.
This was a fiasco last year, and every single loss came where i did not follow my own rules. So i've learnt from that and will not be making that mistake again... So the rules:

1. No road teams
2. No divisional games
3. No bad QBs

That simple... So in week 1, we take the Tom Brady (good qb) and his patriots in a home opener (not a road team) against the KC Chiefs (not a divisional game)... DING DING DING! Lets do it.

I quite like both bets! I'm on them both
But yeah once I found out Luck was definitely out, I've gone with LAR -3.5 v IND for the lock

-3.5 is a crazy line with no Luck. Surely they have to update that?

The line was IND -3 when Luck was in line to play... and I liked the Rams +3 even with luck

Without him, I dunno... Wade Phillips defence up against Scott Tolzien
I like that haha

Just looked at the odds for the next round of the World Cup. Out of the 7 games betting is suspended on three of the favourites. A 4 leg multi for the remaining 4 games gets you $1.57.

It is hard to see where an upset can happen though. Ireland or Samoa May beat the spread.

Early tip for the Vic Derby on Saturday. Flemington race 7 #12 Greycliff. Currently paying $14

His prep has been good and has built up distance and has not been an issue. Stayed on pace at 2200m and ran on for a soft win last start.

The field lacks decent depth this year and i really think he is a chance.

I have clients who are part owners of a few horses including In her Time, Victorem and Houtzen. So I won off the back of them mainly. Happer Clapper was a bonus.

A good FB page to get a feel for your tips in Sydney is Mounting Yard Live. Whoever does the reports on that is pretty good. He posts his tips about 5 minutes before the race based on how the horses parade in the mounting yard.

Randwick Today.

This is what I am on for today. Concerns for Houtzen two weeks straight but think it's still possible. Toby has her in hot form. Humidor is becaUe there is no money in Winx and the field is getting closer as age wears her down. Less than 1.3 lengths the last 5 wins. Humidor is a quality boy with chances today.

R1 No6 Aristocratic Miss
R2 No3 Renewal
R3 No2 Fiesta
R4 No1 Just Dreaming
R5 No9 Houtzen
R6 No5 Luvaluva - Roughie Danzdanzdance e/w
R7 No9 Winx - Roughie Humidor @ 11's Odeon Place bet
R8 No2 Who Shot Thebarman
R9 No1 Daysee Doom
R10 No5 Ravi
