Hey guys I have set up a Yahoo NBA Fantasy comp, looking for 10/12 teams.

The comp is Head to Head - 13 stat categories scoring, 14 players per team - 2 divisions East and West, Finals will be a top 6 or top 8 depending on how many teams, max of 4 moves a week, Draft will be online, it will take about an hour, we will do it one weekend before the season starts on Oct 29.

You can practice drafting at the site via Draft Central - Mock Drafts - it is 13 rounds, 30 sec per pick, ours will likely be 1 minute picks per round.

The draft is next Saturday 18th Oct at 11am EDST 10am Qld. It will take around an hour maybe less.

We need everyone signed up to the site and hopefully manchild can get his 2 mates to join so we have 10 teams.

The draft time can be changed to that afternoon or that night if it's better for everyone.

If you cant make it you get the best player available each pick, players are ranked on the draft board - KD is 1, LBJ 2, Davis 3, Steph 4 ect... whoever is the highest ranked at your turn he will be selected for you each round.

Once the 8th team joins up we have a comp, if we only end up with 8, our teams will be stacked but it means plenty of depth for the year, if anyone can't make the draft just remember, you can do trades to sort out your team afterwards, We can still have another 2 join up I have set it up for 10 teams, but it will have to be done in the next few days I think.

I have had a read of the commish notes, The draft order for Saturdays draft will be randomed half an hour before the draft, we are able to go in to the draft board 15 minutes before the draft starts, a 15 minute clock at the draft starts counting down at that time, once it hits 0 we are away.

The draft is a snake draft.

If you click on the GH NBA Championship and open the page, on the right you will see League Live Draft starts in 5 days 22 hours ect.. Draft will open 15 mins before the draft.

On the my teams and league home page, on draft day you will have an enter draft option.

We need to have an even number of teams to start the comp 8 or 10.

Already been some bad injuries, but they happen.

Bradley Beal is out 2 months aswell, Channing Frye and Victor Oladipo both spained MLCs.

LBJ will now go number 1 pick in mosts drafts I would think, KD will fall a little but not too far.

I'm not sure who our 8th team is yet to sign up, if they don't join soon we won't a draft to worry about.

The draft board/interface at the yahoo draft page has had a massive overhaul from what its been like the last 5 yrs, I did a mock draft last night, it might be worth everyone trying to do a few mock drafts before Saturday to get a feel for it.
