Good to see you're OK mate. I'd be quite happy to live my life without having to deal with that sort of experience.

Re: Latest terrorist threat to Australia
Honestly, it was thrilling at the same time as it was terrifying. The only thing that sucks balls is no power, it was so disgustingly hot last night.
I have a solar usb charger so I can keep both our phones topped up and we have 4G back, but sleeping is near impossible between the heat and the mozzies
And worst news of all, they've restored power to the city centre, so work is back on tomorrow!
Strangely, through all this, we still have hot water

Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

I hope that Stewart continues on with some other show when he finishes up at The Daily Show, because he has done some of the more interesting interviews with people over the years and they deserve more airtime. The Daily Show itself has become such a stale format and when he's not doing interviews like these or spending the entire show focusing on one specific issue he looks like he's just going through the motions.

So 3 separate attacks in France, Tunisia and Kuwait.

How's Martin Place going? I assume it's still a ghost town, yeah? Should be able to get a bite to eat in lunch rush without any trouble?
