Re: Tapatalk
Tapatalk is fairly ease to upload with, unless you're like me who hasn't updated tapatalk in **** knows how many updates, and it now won't let upload pics until I update.
I've had some absolute bangers I could have posted too! I made one about the Britney Spears guy (leave Britney alone!!!) but instead it said "leave shillo alone" when people were talking about booing him. Could have been some good times.

Pretty sure I've asked this before - long time ago - and the answer was no dice. Just wondering if it's changed over time.
I signed up to it, logged on once and immediately brushed it for what I was used to
I like the website layout. I might again look into the imagine shack program. I've used it once or twice before, but given I didn't use it often I kept forgetting my log on details and how to navigate through it. Plus I think it was asking me for $ after a specified period.
It all just seemed too bloody onerous to post a pic of, say, me and Simo enjoying a lager in the bath.
Obviously there's no easy way to implement a simply copy and paste of pic or attach photo, otherwise it would have been done, eh?

It is better for the site if you view in a browser as it shows our ads.The Nickman wrote:I remember back in the day when GE advised me not to use Tapatalk and to use the browser on my phone!greeneyed wrote:Just use Tapatalk.

Now it's starting to annoy me, hence my post in this thread. Might just have to get over myself and adapt to new technology.

Re: Tapatalk
Right, so you want me to use tapatalk or view the site? In view that the latter is better for the site? Do me a solid and introduce a way I can post pics, and I'll do you a solid and continuing increasing your advertisement viewsgreeneyed wrote:It is better for the site if you view in a browser as it shows our ads.The Nickman wrote:I remember back in the day when GE advised me not to use Tapatalk and to use the browser on my phone!greeneyed wrote:Just use Tapatalk.

Gee whiz, you'd think after a hundred years on this forum Marko would know how to quote, wouldn't you??
Re: Tapatalk
The site software requires a third party host for images. Sorry, there's nothing I can do about that. It saves the site's costs as images on the actual site would add massively to the data base we have to maintain.

Cheers too, Schifty.
I probably should give it a nudge, though. Does sound pretty intuitive and user friendly - I just have to invest more than 7 seconds in learning to use it.

All good - I'll give tapatalk a nudge in the coming days.
Cheers for the advice, boys.

All you need to do is set it up to go to "last unread post", 50 posts a page and then check unread posts each time and you're sweet, Prof

Is anyone else having Tapatalk dramas in the last 24 hours. When I try to log onto the GH I get an error message "Network error, please try again later (login)". No such problems on other forums. Latest update was released on the 16th.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Re: Tapatalk
You might have to flag this with Tapatalk GE. It appears to be limited to Android devices since the last update, and to this website. I randomly pick other websites on Tapatalk and they work fine. You might need to adjust a setting. You are certainly losing traffic to the website at the moment because of it.Dr Zaius wrote:Is anyone else having Tapatalk dramas in the last 24 hours.
