Brett Lee is playing for Australia A.....I hope that doesn't mean he won't play for Australia proper and this is just a warm up for him, because he is what i'm looking forward to the most in the upcoming ODI series.... 8)

I guess they are trying to give the Windies as much warm up matches as possible, so they will be more than the competetive in the VB series.

Surely it has to be a joke bid. But doing a joke bid at a time like this is pretty poor taste

I thought it was pretty amazing how Australia A collapsed against Pakistan at the end of today.... They should have won, but managed to find a way to lose.......

20/20 is a concept that has been mind blowingly popular in England (like 20,000 crowds for domestics).
It's 20 overs a side, all bash and smash, Ian Harvey is a pro, opening the batting and has several tons.
Sril Lanka and South Africa have also adopted it with much sucess. CA is testing the waters in Adelaide tomorrow night.

I saw the first 20/20 match in Australia with the Haddin IX vs the Katich IX...i have to say it was pretty good...but they got out more often...it was almost like a game of backyard cricket....

gotta feel sorry for Haddin, the bloke scores 130 odd striking at above 100 and watches as the rest of the team coulding manage 150 betweeb them all.
