Good work forgotten after scandals
In among a week from hell for the Canberra Raiders, the good things the players do in the community have slipped through the cracks.
Lost in the headlines of sacked coaches, AWOL players and drug scandals was Raiders skipper Terry Campese's nomination for the Ken Stephen Medal.
It's the second straight year Campese has been a finalist for the NRL's highest individual honour for community work.
Campese has raised about $90,000 this year for various causes through his charity The Terry Campese Foundation.
