Saw the end part of today's game, great for the Giants!!!!

Am hanging for the Canberra cavalry to start up!
Boston waited 86 years. There were reports of people the next day leaving newspapers on the grave sites of their relatives who had been fans of the club.

The White Sox broke theirs the next year at 88 years.

This will be a miracle if the Cardinals can win the World Series. :D

10.5 games off the National League wild card spot with a month to go in the regular season and paying 400-1 to win the NL, and now they are 1 win away from the World Series! C'mon Cardinals! :thumbsup

They won! amazing stuff!!! chased down the braves, knocked off the phillies, beat the Brewers with a game to spare. Now they take on the Rangers.

Cardinals 1-0 in the World Series. :thumbsup

They need to win next game and then see if they can grab a win in their 3 games in Texas. 6 of the last 7 World Series have been won by the team who won the first game though. :D

Yeh, when I was a kid I we went to one of their games, so they've been my team ever since. :D

They threw away a lead in the 9th inning this morning and ended up losing 2-1. Stolen base and error ended up getting their 2 runners into scoring position.

1-1 in the World Series now with the next 3 in Texas. That was a big game to lose. :(

How on earth did they get out of jail twice in a row now. :o

2 runs in the bottom of the 9th to save the game then the same again in the bottom of the 10th! C'mon Cards. :thumbsup

It's going to Game 7! :thumbsup

If Cardinals win this World Series, it will be one of the biggest miracles in sport I have ever seen. Up there with Bradberry winning gold at the Winter Olympics.

Texas were a strike away from winning the world series twice. I can't believe what I just saw. :o :D  :thumbsup

I do not follow baseball at all but I hope Texas lose and Rick Perry has a massive cry and withdraws from the 2012 race.

Unbelievable. :D

To think a month ago, they were hoping Atlanta lost their last 5 games in a row just so they had a chance at making the playoffs.

i think they do for the world series. cant be 100% sure though, the last world series i was really interested in was back in 07.

shame i missed the last game, but i knew the cards were going to win after game 6. Texas blew it, and the momentum was there for the cardinals. but congrats to them, being 10.5 games behind in late august in the wildcard race to win the whole thing is amazing!

bring on next season!
