the important thing is the Eagles are NFC East king pins for now after a crushing defeat of the Giants :thumbsup
Phillis losing sucks, but oh well, never really into baseball, but could have been a nice motivation for the Eagles players had they won... plus the yankees are *****

I follow baseball quite closely (I got an affinity for it whilst in the U.S) and the Yankees and Phillies are my two most hated teams ... Yankees because they buy everyone and are like the Roosters of the NRL, and Phillies because they're a division rival of my favourite team (Florida).

Save the stadium blowing up in a terrorist attack eliminating both teams (joking), it's going to be the lesser of two evils so I hope the Yankees win.

Now thats good thinking, but my team is in the same division as the Yankees and there is a long hated history between mine and them. Thats why i was backing the phillies. I really dont care about the NL that much.

I do have a soft sport for teams that beat the Yankees in the WS so the Marlins are alright by me! you guy's also gave us 2 great players in Mike Lowell and Josh Beckett!

Over here in NYC and game 6 is just about to start. This is the first time I have REALLY got into a game of baseball. The mood around town is exciting for sure. Is this being telecast live in Aus?

go the phillies by the way, I want game 7.

after another long season, its getting close to the fall classic.

both championship series look to be heating up! Texas looked to have the edge against the yankees in the american league, but lost today to see it tighten up.

While the national league is the closest its been in years with the giants and philly looking to split the series 2-2 after todays game.

could be anyones year!

Got Fox in the new house, so I'm getting back into the sports I use to. How are the Rays going? Know Balfour through the better 1/2's dad and he's a pretty cool guy. Been following them since

they won the AL East division this season. got knocked out by Texas though.

Looking good for the giants to win their first world series in San Fran. It amazing to see how long some of these teams have been waiting for a world series win. Makes our 16 years look soft really.
