GH Members as Simpson's characters

Post by dubby »

It's the off-season. It's hot. There's no footy. And we're all wondering why it's taken me years to do this again....

So, which Simpson's character do i think you are?

Let's start with our more common members:

Botman: he's straight to the point. He never backs down, and he has a deep fryer he got from the navy that will flash fry a buffalo in 40 seconds

Gangers: politically, he's Lisa Simpson. Otherwise, he's a likeable goon always witty, insightful, and loyal. He's our own Lenny, wondering what it'd be like to wear something that's been ironed.

Billy Walker: Despite his best attempts to kidnap Finchy and destroy the GH, he just can't get it right. Kinda like Sideshow Bob. Just don't let him near any rakes.

Finchy: a guy we all like, he's vocal, he's loyal, and he's the strongest guy on here! Rainier Wolfcastle

Gerg: he lives abroad, he thinks it's too hot today, and he can't talk about that particular clients illegal account.

Bluesbrother: I can't base this on anything other than my odd imagination, but I reckon he's that blue haired lawyer. Maybe it's the word blue.

NoMan: detailed. Poignant. Always proper and having flashbacks to his Nam tour; Principal Skinner

TW: doesn't say a lot (unless it's about Brett Kelly), and tends to be outspoken about Duff, Duffman.

RedRaider: he's our beloved grandpa who loves to tell you about the time he tied an onion around his belt (yes, I stole this from a Nickman meme)

CrabLord: Mr Pinchy, duh!!

RaidersPat: I can't explain why, but he reminds me of that guy with the lock in of the week.

Seiffert82: he doesn't advertise, just like Disco Stu!

PJ: he's tough. He's good for a yarn, but when it comes to TV, there are 200 channels and nothing but cats; Jasper

Bonehead: the hero we all need but the guy we don't deserve; Radioactive Man

Nickman: Kearney.
Simo: Dolf

Roger Kenworthy: been around forever, but no one knows why. Be weird if he wasn't here though. Maybe it's the laugh and green hair; Krusty

BJ: Kent Brockman with another tip from BJ Mole; there's an escaped octopus at Springfield elementary

Canberra Milk: he hears you and he don't care; Willie

Regs Revolution: Recent posting actions reveal he is very worried about the children; Helen Lovejoy

The Dunning-Kruger effect is a cognitive bias where individuals with low ability in a specific area grossly overestimate their competence. This often occurs because they lack the knowledge or skills to accurately assess their own abilities, leading to a false sense of confidence.

But like Moe, I'm better than most kinds of dirt. Not that store bought stuff though.

So, it's my birthday today, and my amazing wife arranged a Simpson's theme portrait of us. That's me holding my raiders coffee mug.

Best present ever.

Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.
