North Southwest Mongolia. Labour is cheap until they bring in the yaks, then there's all sorts of issues.

Just received my licence renewal in the mail today.

I go 5yrs.

In 2020 it cost $188. I got a 50% discount so it was $94.

Service NSW has stopped the 50% discount as of Feb 2024.

In 2025 it will cost $220 for 5yrs.

A $32 increase.

Looks like that’s a CPI increase over that period.

Losing the discount is the real pain, why is that gone?

You’d think with the $$$ they’re sucking from NSW motorists for regos and those $5000 licence plates every year they could continue with the discount but NO !!!!

I’m not sure why they stopped the “good driver” discount.

You’d think with the $$$ they’re sucking from NSW motorists for regos and those $5000 licence plates every year they could continue with the discount but NO !!!!

There’s enough morons on the road. Why get rid of a nice incentive for those driving carefully?

Unfortunately due to the weather the 2 nights we booked in Nelson Bay has been called off due to no power in Port Stephens. So on very very short notice we’ve booked a couple of nights on the Central Coast.

Just got back from our weekend away at Encore Mingara.

What a great venue, motel and club.

Being guests of the motel got us 10% off meals and drinks at the club as well as free use of the gym and pool. I had a schnitzel the other night that was bigger than my head, and my head is big.

Anyone else been to the Mingara club ? The motel only opened in Nov 24.

We're up to 16 years in June. Heading to Phuket for their Running Festival. I'm doing a 10k and she's doing a half. Other than that I'm looking forward to 5 days lounging on the beach.
