The Greenhouse turns 20!



Today marks the 20th birthday of The Greenhouse, and as we enter our 21st anniversary season we are still the one! The biggest and best Canberra Raiders supporters site on the net.

As always, on this day, we recognise the site's founders, Nick and Ed. There’s little doubt that they could not have foreseen what was to come. No one could. Back in 2005, Facebook was in its infancy, and had not been launched for the general public. Applications like Twitter and Instagram did not exist.

We have over 4,000 members of TheGH.com.au. The Greenhouse Facebook page has over 50,000 followers, while The Greenhouse Facebook group has over 30,000 members. We also have over 9,000 followers on X and more than 12,000 on Instagram. On all our social media platforms, we have well over 100,000 followers.

Whenever big news breaks, it is The Greenhouse the supporters come to. And whenever people want to know what Raiders fans are thinking, it is The Greenhouse they come to.

Thanks to the members and followers of The GH, for continuing to make The Greenhouse the number one Canberra Raiders supporters website!

We aim to be even better in 2025. Hopefully, it will be the Year of the Raiders!

If you ever want a good laugh, go back to some old threads and posts from the early years to see how the standards, jokes, banter, and language has changed. Yes even from people who would now get offended at much more vanilla content these days. And no I’m not having a go at anyone, I’m just saying the contrast between 2005 and 2025 is funny, that’s all.
