Far out, that made me laugh
Without doubt Nickman’s best ever post on the GH! A bit like Paul Osbourne’s performance in the 94 GF. Nobody saw it coming, few thought he had it in him, but pleasantly surprising and good to see :roflmao
True

On the back of my Paul Carriage post Image
Chin up Billy. One day you might have your own Paul Osborne moment.

Have a listen to the Raiders talk on Bloke in a Bar. They talked about Ricky Stuart and they are right about what they said.

I agree, even though I have no idea what they said.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Players used to love Matt Elliott too, and he was a crap coach. I think that's how he got by for so long, by being likeable

Disclaimer, Stuart is incomparably better than Elliott

I think some players like Schif loved Matt Elliot, but others less so. Ricky definitely has more buy in from the group than Elliot.

Asinine drivel.

Someone convinced me otherwise. That said, I plan to offer no posts of substance or useful analyses anymore, it's all wasted and half of it gets deleted by folk who seem to hate me now, I can't take it

Yeah I just interpret Azza's posts as coming from The Dude (which makes the rest of us Steve Buscemi or John Goodman at best) and it all kind of starts to make sense. If the dude was usually his obscure self but occasionally made a really salient point about RL...

Never mind, Azza. Nickman tends to be the only response I get in the Raiders forums. Not that I’m complaining.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

There is no one else to that can possibly coach this club to a Premiership, barring an invasion from Mars. We all need to look at the stability and culture of our club: far exceeds 90% in the league. Furner, Stuart, Mullholland, etc., have done a super impressive job. Any dumb ass detractors out there please sign up; how about supporting and promoting this great club! And I live in QLD ****!!! Ricky: tell 'em to eat cake.

Yes.

Actually, I was just trying to find a Matt Elliott meme I did many a moon ago. And I came across LU. Most of the same characters from those days!

Hahaha. Yes, sorry. My brain is fried today, been spending the last couple of weeks trying to get several projects to think logically, listen to what’s being said, do things according to standards, etc. Being serious is stressful.
