NRL and the broader non Daily Telegraph rugby league media need to really kick up a stink about what is meant to be our premier player of the year award.
Just came on here to say the same thing.
A prop, and captain of the club, plays 70 mins leading from the front making 303m and 146pcm and does not get a single point?
Look at the stat leader this week. Only people coming close to those numbers were fullback and wingers, not another forward in sight!
AJ Brimson played way better than Foran and didnt recieve a point either, zero tackle has MVP system they update every week is far more accurate than these "experts"

Might knock out a Dally M Raiders team of the year, like we do for the GH POTY awards, be interesting to see how different they are at the end of the season:
1. Jordan Rapana 2
2.
3. Matt Timoko 7
4.
5. Xavier Savage 2
6. Ethan Strange 11 (c)
7. Jamal Fogarty 10 (vc)
8. Josh Papalii 1
9.
10. Joseph Tapine 8
11. Hudson Young 7/Elliott Whitehead 7
12. Zac Hoskings 8
13. Morgan Smithies 4
14. Kaeo Weekes 3
15. Simi Sasagi 1
16.
17.
Looks like Fogarty is vice-captain of both teams, but Tapine (who still polls well here) is the captain of the GH team instead of Strange. Also, Young and Whitehead are tied for points here, and Papalii is in instead of Mooney.
Other big difference is that the Dally M team of the year has a lock, but doesn't have a hooker or a winger.

That centre spot is vacant for both teams.
No hooker!!

How is that possible when we have the very very good Danny Levi in our team?

Their bench forwards were really the difference. Leniu and May were superb, so was Whyte. They were making 55 to 65 metres on every set up to the 5th tackle. JWH had a quiet game in comparison. So did Collins. You have to give it to Robinson with his specially devised tactic of playing Radley as an edge forward to attack our edge defence weaknesses. Worked straight away. Wish we also devise tactics to match our opponents. I’m not seeing it atm

Also the five extra tries they scored.
There’s a little nugget you missed at the end there Nickman
