Down 20 zip, wet weather, away from home, a thousand penalties to one.. wow. That's a damn tough win. Amazing stuff. Very proud to be a Raider tonight.

That is quite possibly both the worst and the best win in NRL history.

What can we do?

80th min DCE misses the two point field goal attempt! Incredible win! They come back from 20-0 down! A comeback for the ages!

FULL TIME

Canberra Raiders 26
Manly Sea Eagles 24

MATCH REPORT: Raiders stun Sea Eagles with second-half comeback

The Raiders have handed the Sea Eagles their first loss in five weeks after producing a remarkable second-half comeback on Friday night to win 28-26 at Brookvale Oval. Behind by 20 points midway through the first half and facing an 18-point deficit early in the second stanza, Canberra's unlikely surge began on 53 minutes when returning captain Elliott Whitehead scored the first of his two tries.

It ended with Hudson Young's try three minutes from full-time, with the Raiders surviving two late charges from the Sea Eagles and an attempted two-point field goal from Daly Cherry-Evans with seconds left on the clock.

In addition to Whitehead's double, and a first-half assist from a flick pass, former Sea Eagle Kaeo Weekes and teenage prospect Ethan Strange were impressive in the halves and each came up with some clutch plays late on to get their side home.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

What an amazing victory
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Just when I said that Whitehead has passed it he ignites a Raider's come back. One of the great victories!
It's a simple game; tackle, back-up, pass, hold the ball! What did I say? "Hold the bloody ball!!"

I was worried Atkins would give a penalty for the voluntary tackle. He's a disgrace. Disgraceful refereeing tonight

If ever there was a case for voluntary tackle that was it. Very dumb play from Young and lucky to not be penalised for sure
