It's going to a long day if that line raiders defence dosen't improve

18th min TRY SHARKS to Thomas Hazelton under the posts. Nothing wrong with that try, just poor goal line defence from Canberra. Off the back of a couple of six again calls. Converted.

Sharks 12-0

Papalii OFF, Saulo ON.

If we did it would be 5 crash balls and an ineffective kick.

Why are we getting dominated in our strength area. Our line speed is poor.

Two cracks at our line, two tries. Terrible.

Some very soft tries.

Schiller/Sasungi now Tapine all arm grabbing
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

This is what I've been saying for seasons. There is no urgency to move up and tackle. Let the opposition come to us

That's my cue to finish the yard work. If only the Raiders could have been competitive until halftime, I may have been able to call it due to bad light.

These things are more holistic than they are isolated. The forwards are struggling because the sharks are pinning us in the corner every set where we let the shark outside backs make little half breaks with a poor defensive line. It's the sum of the parts and we just look flat

So if Tapine wasn't too tired to make that tackle what was his issue? He is still out there....

Our attitude in defence is also contributing. It’s atrocious - I don’t think we’ve dominated a single tackle yet.

We are just hitting them with wet lettuce

I understand trying to keep the same game plan if it is going to be short stint without Fog, but we have essentially just plugged Weekes in and kept the same plan.

Ricky - if plan A doesn't work, just pound plan A.

Where is the line speed? This will be a training run for sharks if we don't start moving up in d.
