Gonna be an absolute tipping nightmare this week, outs like Cleary and Moses make both those games head-scratchers and Raiders are big underdogs but could easily get the job done if they play at the same level as the last three weeks.

Even Cowboys are deserved favourites against the Donkeys, but those games at Lang Park are ALWAYS close.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Haas is a huge out and so is the young Piakuru. Broncos pack isnt the best so with those 2 out the Cows should dominate.
Our man Schnieder is taking Cleary's place , big task. With Sorenson and Fisher-Harris also out , Roosters in good form , Id be taking them.
And us $6.75 for 13+ , too good to pass up.

Disagree
It’s JWH’s responsibility not to impede a defender. Edwards doesn’t change his line at all, he’s running to the contest and must not be impeded

I’m perfectly fine with those being penalties

There’s still a long way to go in this game, but very impressed with Penrith so far with no Cleary and no JFH. They’re such a juggernaut

That was less of a try than Strange’s no try last week.

Seriously **** like that is why some people think there is a massive problem with unconscious bias in this league.

Their defence is just incredible. Schneider playing his part. Straightening the attack, defending well and a few nice pinpoint kicks.

Key difference
Strange's decision went up a no try and stayed
This went up a Try and stayed

I think in both cases what was called would stand.

That was a knock on, no try. Ref really doing his best to keep the Roosters in this. Only piggy back penalties getting them into the red zone.

You’re right there was a difference but nah.

There was 2 angles there which clearly showed he bounced that ball and clearly showed the decision should be overturned but they quickly rushed through and confirmed the try.

The on field decision really should be a tiebreaker in the event of a truly line ball 50-50 call. Or when the video evidence is inconclusive.

Which is why I can live with the Strange one even though I think it was actually a try.

It shouldn’t be used as an excuse or mechanism to wave through blatantly incorrect calls.

Interesting little story there about how Penrith identified Schneider as a talent. They played against him a couple of years ago and were impressed with how he handled Kikau defensively.

Yeah, I never really rated him as a NRL level half and I don’t think we’ll ever miss him, but he seems like a nice guy and I wish him well and I’m glad to see him doing a job for a red hot Panthers team as a back up to Cleary

He’s just a good back up half
Because he kicks well and tackles well

You can live with that. Means he doesn’t sink you. What he’s done tonight is exactly what you want out of a back up half. There is always a place in NRL squads for a guy like that

He's not had a lot of joy on the stat sheet but i think Luai has been very good for the panthers tonight
He's an unlikable character and im not sold he's the sort of player that can drag the tigers out of their **** show but i am sold of this... dude can play and people who think he cant are too far in their feelings.

I like what’s happening to the points differential.

This game’s ended up a lot closer than the Roosters deserve. Thoroughly dominated all game yet the score line looks decent

I feel like 5-10 more minutes and the Roosters win that. Felt like a real Raiders win that one, nearly getting run down

I think the roosters late surge was more down to the panthers putting the cue in the rack
It got in any real danger, they'd have ramped it back up and won.
