We arent throwing enough at them in attack. We need get 2nd phase happening.
Ball is dying with Hoppa , it's killing us.
We have looked better now Hosking is out there , he has poked his head through the line a few times already.
We can win this. Raps needs his 2nd,3rd and 4th wind to kick in

I was thinking that.

Might see our wingers rotate with him

Ricky really needs settle them down, and play like they did last few games, good passing, and ball control, not just young smash balls passing out of desperation.

I’ll take going into half time only down by 2.

Rapa having a tough game, he has been targeted.

Strange not having his best day but has not dropped his head.

Levi really faded towards the end of that half.

The thing that will convince me that this is a new team is if we don't **** the bed for 10-20 mins after halftime. That has been our hallmark under Sticky, hopefully his half time speeches have improved.

Well have been well outplayed and lucky the Warriors haven't put more on us. We should have been even up with Strange getting to the line. Fog's kept us in the game with his kicking.

Hosking has been good, so has Young's defence covering the missed tackles. Tapine, Savage, Rapa and Timoko trying hard. Cotric needs to pull his finger out

This is a good game.

Warriors are a very good side. They're desperate, too.

If we can complete, defend well and take our chances we may be a chance
That run that led to the no try (which could have gone either way) is one of the most exciting things I've seen from a new Raiders player. The footwork, power...both of which will only improve. We've got a good one here.
Exactly. He's only going to improve.

I’m pretty happy with the way that half went. They had a lot of momentum early which we largely held out, but then we got into our natural game and the warriors appeared to be tiring towards the end of the half there.

Just need to start the second half well and I reckon we can go on with this one.

Both teams failing to convert opportunities. Much of that is some desperate defense. Will come down to which team can maintain the intensity.

HT thoughts

- Warriors a much better side but some serious ticker from Raiders.

- Flat out can’t carry Whitehead in the 17

- Berry v Hoppa is a big mismatch. We miss Kris, Hoppa at centre makes early ball there useless.

- Thank god we have Rapana and Savage

- I don’t know where or how the turnaround with Fogarty has come from but u can’t praise him enough.

- both bench props have been good.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

I thought the interpretation was that as long as the ball never comes away from the arm, it’s a try.

Given that the ball never once came away from Strange’s arm, why was that not a try? They’ve been consistent with it all last year. Has it changed again?

We were holding on for the first 25-30 minutes and we would be ahead if the correct decision was made. I’m happy with that.

Gosh Strange is giving up his outside shoulder nearly every time. Young man needs to stop turning in ASAP.

Fogarty needs to hit Timoko early more often, guy is dynamite but needs more quality ball. Excellent game played by two teams really knuckling down. Good quality stuff.

If consistency of interpretation of the rules is what you are after then you're not going to enjoy rubgba league.

All four props very good. Fogs kicking has really saved our bacon and Timoko and Savage very good too.

Levi has done a few good things, but too much sloppy plays too. Hosking added spark off the bench.

I think an early injection of Starling is the play here, Taps and Papa back in there as well.

I thought the rules are meant be universal across all team in the NRL but I could wrong, even our strange thought he scored couldn't see separation, someone needs slow it down to see but the game isn't played in slow motion.

Having a tough one defensively but i like the way he works inside out, even after a miss. Hard and physical in cover... there is no time spent feeling sorry for himself.

44th min Jordan Rapana has a problem, and he'll have to go off for an HIA probably. He doesn't. The Raiders defuse the Johnson kick in the in goal and Timoko takes the quick tap.

Yep. He's got a great attitude

Guler and Saulo have tried. We need Mooney or Ata
