I am curious why we’ve gone all green though. Isn’t the point of the alternate jersey to be a different colour to the main/home jersey? Even though we don’t really clash with anyone other than Souths (even then it’s not that bad), we almost don’t need an away jersey if it’s going to still be green.

I think an away jersey needs to be a change of colour for clashes. Alternate jerseys are just to make money though.

Our home jersey , the lime green one doesn't clash with anyone. Doesn't even clash with Souths .
So there is no need for another jersey if that is the criteria.

The reason the jersey looks so weird is because they've just plonked it on our normal shorts and socks. Navy Shorts in the same colour with similar coloured socks would improve it so much. But. Good on em'. Don't care what they do with the alternate.

Canberra Raiders reveal more details about all-green alternate jersey

The Canberra Raiders have released their alternate jersey for the 2024 NRL season. A special edition Indigenous jersey and one more design will make a total of five different Raiders jerseys worn this year.

"We wanted something a lot cleaner in terms of colour palette, and to trial sponsor logos in mono," Raiders COO Jason Mathie said. "For the fans there was also a lot of commentary on social media and on game day saying they wanted a predominantly green jersey.

That's easily the worst jersey the Raiders have ever produced. It's the sort of corporate sludge that gets produced when there's zero respect for the customer.

I can't understand why the Raiders find uniform design so difficult.

I'd have made 1 sleeve cuff blue, the other yellow and the neck white. Then you cover off on the ACT part.

I think after a while no matter what, keeping a consistent home and away jersey might not be viable for them. They should make the home jersey consistent and traditional, the away jersey should be retro inspired by old merch (say the training shirt we have this year), and make the alternate modern.

I wasn't but for me personally I'd love to see the raiders use the away jersey to try some alternate designs and colours.
I think the keep the home jersey traditional but the away jersey can be anything.
I want to see a light purple colourway for the away jersey. Let's get a little bold.
Raiders alternate kits tend to remind me of a scene in American psycho with the cards:
My card is white, mine is have white on white, mine is antique white, gentlemen, this is bone.
