My experience with the Daily Telegraph is that there is usually ‘less’ to the story.

From The DT, based on discussions with Bulldogs players:

Sources with knowledge of the situation say the player had no knowledge he was late - he has told those close to him that his schedule said to arrive at 8am for strapping and training would begin at 8.30am. The player didn’t require strapping, so when he arrived at about 8.10am he in fact thought he was 20 minutes early for training. It is believed he then trained for two hours before being told that he was being punished… He finished barely able to pick himself up off the floor. As he struggled to recover, teammates were told to leave him on the floor and he was told he got what he deserved for being late. Those claims have been denied by the club.

Might be a legal dispute coming…

Willie Mason telling Bulldogs players to toughen up.

Is this the same Willie Mason who regularly complained about how tough it was playing in the cold of Canberra in Winter?

I think BJ is on the money here. ‘Sources with knowledge of the situation’. 😃 The DT need a Ricky Stuart cameraman spray on this one.

On radio they were saying it’s easy to work out who it is, but I don’t actually know who it is.

JAC is a player who needs a system with real control in it, which is what the storm had. His biggest mistake was going back to sydney. Between going to an unstable club that is the dogs and getting comfortable with his mates and family.

He seems like a guy who will let his heart completrly shut his brain down.

Dogs have signed Drew Hutchinson from the roosters according to the SMH.

Drew joins a long list of awful signing by Gus. Sexton, Salmon, Oloapu, Hutchinson, Taaffe, Mann… and they missed out on Cogger!

How many mediocre utility players can you fit into a squad??

Very early to call a kid as talented as Oloapu a bad signing.
And i think Taaffe has good potential be be good for them

Agreed
He’s got some ways to go but the early returns are that talent and ability won’t be what holds him back
He’s got that in spades
