Today, January 6, marks the 18th birthday of The Greenhouse, and as we enter our 19th season we are still the one! The biggest and best Canberra Raiders supporters site on the net!
As always, on this day, we recognise the site's founders, Nick and Ed. We would not be here without them. There’s little doubt that they could not have foreseen what was to come. No one could. Back in 2005, Facebook was in its infancy, and had not been launched for the general public. Twitter and Instagram did not exist.
We now have just under 4,000 members of TheGH.com.au. The site has over 32,000 unique users of the site on average per month - with a monthly peak over 45,000 users. The site averages around 1 million page views per month - with a monthly peak of over 1.4 million.
The Greenhouse Facebook page has more than 45,000 followers... and over 75,000 followers on Facebook on all our pages and groups. We have almost 9,000 followers on Twitter and have now hit 10,000 on Instagram. On all our social media platforms, including Pinterest and TikTok, we topped 100,000 followers for the first time last year. In 2022, our social media posts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter reached almost 21 million users, up from 18 million in 2021.
Whenever big news breaks, it is The Greenhouse the supporters come to. And whenever people want to know what Raiders fans are thinking, it is The Greenhouse they come to.
