Our roster simply isnt good enough. Can we honestly say Timoko, Kris, Savage, Fogarty, Starling etc are long term first graders? Sure they shine against the garbage teams like Titans but they get found out by the quality teams. Then throw a potatoe like Whitehead into the mix, who hasnt had a good game in three years, and you can see why we struggle against elite sides.

But we will beat Dragons next week and Raiders MGMT will be convinced all is well and our season is back on track.
You see... this is the problem..
Titans scored 24 points against us, what are they ? Bottom 2 ?
If we were a serious contender then we should of put 40 on them and geld them to nil.
Time to debut some young blokes, or give more time to guys like Schiller, Mooney, Rushton, Schneider etc, because it's now been proven
Beyond doubt
With no question whatsoever
THAT THIS TEAM IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO WIN A PREMIERSHIP ANYTIME SOON
like, even in my lifetime...
Souths put 48 on Warriors today. Melbourne put 60 odd yet we couldn't beat them the following week.

Warriors led us at HT.

We are kidding ourselves when we think we are a top 4 side (well Ricky is), let alone a top 8 side.

And a warning - people seem to here talk up our juniors. I don't think they are that outstanding from the limited time that I've seen of them.

And we haven't recruited one single player. Ricky's got limited pulling power. Even bog below average Elise Katoa turned us down.

If that can change we can still win
Need a Jack Wighton resurgance at halftime like the Warriors game
He came out a different player and won us that game. We need it again tonight.
Jack is too hot and cold, he is not a game manager, the sooner Ricky gets that through his thick head and buys a decent 5/8 the better.
Jack is a natural centre, he cramps the left side attack and I'm bloody sick of saying it.
As i always say, find me two better halves than Jack and we can have a chat about what position he moves too. Until then... its moot. He's the best half we have right now. And it's not close.
Munster and Schneider.
Piss fog off too
Munster aint coming, not enough money in the world that the Dolphins cant match
And Scheider was a long way off being close to Jack last time we saw him in FG. Very open to seeing him take the #7 job next year though

Today he was.
I’d say Edwards may have outplayed him a little

I think you could get whichever players you want in there and barring them being the absolute biggest superstars, none of them would be able to overcome the systematic issues implemented by Stick and his tactics.

That game should show 100% to anyone just how poorly coached we are.

1.6m would get Munster here, and I'd like to see Schneider develop more with him, Brad was pretty good in his games, and has more upside to fogarty.
Paps ankle tapped him last year, he's not a quick halfback, stop taking the line on.

A whole thread of people trying to pinpoint the players that let us down.

Guys, we were beaten by a team who were structured, drilled and supremely confident in their ability to get the job done, even with their three best players out.

The 17 players on the park are the least of our problems, let alone trying to narrow them done to a scapegoat.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

The likes of Munster, Brandon Smith, Reynolds, Nicho Hynes will never come here. Elise Katoa even rejected us.

And we really needed one of the last two but didn't go hard at either.

Yep. Coached off the park.

I doubt Rick will mention how unsettled his spine has been when explaining away this one.

Maybe it was the bounce of the ball? Or luck? Panthers just luck into being in the right position when and where there team mate expects them to be all the time.

The effort was good... the team did try. I think a lot of people here think thst poor play is not trying.

The concern for me is our attack. Even the questions at the press conference tried to hone in and Stuart danced around it.
