Tigers score at 4:20 remaining. Heheh
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

I hope they get lost leaving the stadium, ending up in the Bermuda Triangle.

I hope after they get lost in the Bermuda Triangle a magic manatee forces them to read Sylvia Plath endlessly.

5 weeks seems fair for a tackle with the increased risk of death/paraplegia.
Grade 3 it is
You're an awesome bloke reppy, but I have to admit... whenever I see you're posted I'm half hoping there's a photo of or at least a reference to Frank
Frank got excited watching today. But he’s retired now, can’t be bothered posting in the Green Room
You tell Frank I'm expecting something special.

Or, he gets no roo sausage
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

I don't really watch press conferences for other teams but I did think the summary of the Knight's one was worth a chuckle:

"You need to understand something. I’ve seen other people do great things. Have I done those things? No. Do I know how to make my team do those things? Also no. But I did see them happen. And for that, I think I’m pretty great. No further questions."

AOB should be given a life contract. Give Ponga another 10 years on top of his deal now, Gagai? 10 years more... run it back forever.

Nathan Cleary - 5 weeks
Will Kennedy - 6 weeks
Pat Carrigan - 5/6 weeks
Mitchell Moses - 4 weeks

Might be last man standing come finals times.

We all know the answer to that one GE. I'm not suggesting any sort of bias - I'd be leaning more towards incompetence.

It's not his go.

Good bloke defence gets you a 2 week reduction.

Surely him being a Queenslander implies an automatic 25% deduction on the 'good bloke' narrative?

How did NAS not get a suspension?

Horrific and intentional IMO.

I’ve disagreed with the MRC on charging levels and different things but that non charge left me completely baffled.

Do NAS and JWH have compromising photos of the officials?

What’s the bet some poor sod from the Titans or Knights will cop a bigger than needed charge this weekend?

Dreadful. Zero chance NAS didnt know what he was doing and JWH was just a dog act.
