21 mins to go Trey Mooney knocks down a pass on the last and it gives the Maroons six again in the red zone. The set ends with an awful kick from Maroons half Duffy.

Blue Jacob Webster and Maroon Jack Howarth out of the game, failing their HIA. Presumably Queensland's Te Kura is out of the game too. Both teams down to 15.

17 mins to go PENALTY BLUES Lifting tackle from Queensland's hooker Blake Mozer. No real damage, but he's sin binned and on report. The second half has been poor. It has been very stop, start and lots of errors. Mozer shows a lack of discipline in the tunnel too.

PENALTY GOAL BLUES to Weaver.

Blues 26-4

Alright, you dont need to follow the kid up the tunnel like that
he's clearly very frustrated with himself. Let him have that moment to himself

Nice bit of work from him. Summed it up quickly and found space between bodies.
Like it a lot.

Joel Carbone recently explained they’re aiming to expand his versatility. And presumably his passing game.

The Penrith Panthers have a lot to answer for, in terms of poor behaviour on field.

7 mins to go TRY BLUES to Michael Asomua! The Canberra Raiders winger takes the rainbow pass and he's completely unmarked. The Maroons had defended pretty well while they had 12 men. Weaver converts, hits the post and bounces over.

3 mins to go ERROR BLUES to Brad Morkos, gives Queensland one more shot to get on the board. But they're held up over the line on the last.

Good game.
Great to see some of the kids of the future... think our boys all handled things well
Mooney and Asamoua very impressive, Morkos struggled at times defensively but looked dangerous with ball in hand

Mooney should be a walk up start for our 17 now and certain next year without Elliott and Sutton in the middle rotation.

As usual NSW dominate these games but it hasn’t translated into the senior level.

I thought Tumeth had a pretty solid game too. Really locked up that right edge and some good, tough carries. Congratulations to the Raiders players. Mooney and Asamoa played really strong. Morkos also with some good carries but got beaten a few times in defence, maybe getting caught on his heels/ planting the feet too early.

Asomua with another banger take, like the look of that kid, got the right body type to be an NRL winger

I know he's maybe not as tall but for some reason (haircut?) Mooney really reminded me of Tom Learoyd-Llars. I also liked that he played like he knew he was the biggest and oldest. I did miss the pre-game interview though...

That's a good call. He might not be as tall but has a very similar build and gait to TLL.
