Can we get a poll on how many people are actually looking forward to this game?

I think the plodders that played on the weekend deserve to play this weekend to get belted by the Storm. But I'd like to see something like this moving forward:
1. Savage
2. Cotric
3. Timoko
4. Nicoll-Klokstad
5. Rapana
6. Wighton
7. Schneider
8. Papalii
9. Trevilyan
10. Tapine (c)
11. Young
12. Harawira-Naera
13. Rushton/Mooney

14. Starling
15. Sutton
16. Hola
17. Mooney/Rushton

Give Papalii 50 mins and Tapine 50-60 mins. Sutton to sub for Papalii and Hola to play a 20 min impact role. Mooney and Rushton to play around 40 mins each at lock. Valemei, Whitehead and the 14-17 we've been playing in the first few rounds can spend some time in reserve grade.

There really is zero chance that Ricky will swallow his pride and play Savage at Fullback over Charnze and put Charnze in the centres. Zero.

What’s the point of a rookie spine against the storm??? 3 of the 4 have less than 5 nrl games and would be lucky to have 10 between all of them. Throwing them to the wolves against the storm is madness

I hear what you're saying but look at the alternatives. CNK is struggling big time at fullback, Schneider is out halfback regardless and we're starting Matt **** Frawley at hooker. Can it really be much worse?

I could get behind that side TBH, i likethe idea of sink or swim. No way in hell Rick makes that many changes, esp against Storm.

They will sink then, and be exposed badly by the best coaches team in the NRL. There is no upside in flooding the team with rookies. In a perfect world Hodgson and Fogarty aren’t injured and we can slot Savage into the no 1 jersey

Trevilyan didn't even play reserves last weekend, so you can forget about naming him.

What does Stuart do with Whitehead though. That's now the biggie for me.

I guess that depends on why Trevilyan didn’t play NSW Cup. The club doesn’t seem to announce injuries of most top 30 players who play NSW Cup for some reason. Guess we will see today.

This is the problem with Sticky waiting until a few rounds in (at best) to blood Savage. We're either winning, which justifies keeping him out. Or we're losing, which puts too much pressure on him to turn things around and just generally bad juju

Should have played him from the start of the season, then rested him in the middle if needs be

Interesting that Hook Griffin last week backflipped on his rookie policy, and it backfired

I feel like we might see a minor change from Stick this week though. Maybe Rushton on the bench (or maybe I just haven't learned)

I had 2 theories
a) they are in cotton wool to be picked for firsts
b) they did something naughty and copped a minor internal suspension- go and watch they kids play if you want to act like kids kind of thing.

This game is a perfect one to blood players as us supporters have no confidence of getting anywhere near the Storm this weekend

Savage, Mooney, Sutton and Rushton deserve a chance. Even Schiller another crack from NSW Cup form

Elliott, Whitehead, Valemei, Guler and Frawley have been terrible this season

1. CNK
2. Cotric
3. Timoko
4. Rapana
5. Schiller
6. Wighton
7. Schnieder
8. Papalii
9. Starling
10. Tapine.
11. Young
12. CHN
13. Sutton

14. Savage
15. Mooney
16. Rushton
17. Whitehead

Whatever the reason I can't see him being rushed into first grade this week. It's not like Frawley made any clanging errors or was directly implicated during our capitulation in the second half.

Whitehead, Elliott, Valemei and Guler are the 4 players who should be on notice. Young also needs to step up to his best.

CNK has been a mixed bag - a really tough game for him vs Manly. I can't see Stuart moving him given our disruption across the spine, but there is no doubt Savage is a better prospect than Valemei, so to that extent we may be better off with CNK moving to centre.

I really want to see Savage at FB. However, I do wonder if he is quite fit enough to play 80 mins there. I know it was pre season but he clearly wasn't able to play 80 mins a couple of months ago. He looked really tired to me and this is when a few errors seem to creep in to his game.

I'd leave Rapana on the wing, he will drift around the park anyway in attack. Like it or not, Semi is our best bet at right centre at the moment. Hopefully he gets some reps with Raps and they don't leak like a sieve on the goal line again this week.

Forwards are my concern. I think Elliot to spell Smelly might be least worst option. Guler looks to be settling in to Plodsville for the long term, Sutton has to offer more even off the bench.

Agree we need to blood Savage - but Ricky won't make many changes this week because he is all about consistency. We are going to get fisted.

One team names the same 17 that lost abysmally, the other names the name team that didn't concede a single point while scoring 44 themselves. It's acceptance of mediocrity.
