I kind of feel like an elite team would have absolutely punished this Dragons team by 50 (as occurred last week).

They have been dismal this second half in particular.

Both teams have been dreadful. Awful game all round and really highlights the massive gap between the top 6 and 7-16. Although even the top 6 are getting fractured now.

Guess we should just take the win and be happy with that much.

The finals countdown: Raiders outlast Dragons in slugfest



The Raiders may have consigned the Dragons to another year without finals footy after scoring a hard-fought 20-12 win on Friday night. These teams were level on 18 points each coming into the game. But with the Dragons suffering their fourth loss in a row, it’s the Raiders who are now in the top-eight.

Both clubs may have some match review committee worries. The Raiders have Rapana and Emre Guler on report for high tackles – the same for Dragons forwards Tariq Sims and Jack de Belin and goalkicker Zac Lomax.

I don't think we were bad but we weren't good. We defended pretty good. I just don't get some of sticks calls. CHN is the one hole runner we have and he's playing prop.

Gotta improve the attack basically

Solid defensive efforty. Admittedly the Dragons didn't throw much at us. Our attack was clunky as ever.

Shout out to Starling and Jack. Jack ran the ball and was in everything. Chased and tackled hard. There was also better shape on the left for the first time in weeks.
