I just heard of the Pinocchio Paradox. Basically if Pinocchio says "My nose will grow now." It will create a paradox.

If its the truth, it then can't grow because it's not a lie. But if it doesn't grow, it's a lie and so it should grow. But if it's a lie, then it can't grow because he said it would...

This has hurt my brain, and Im blaming the lack of football. Im blaming St Pete

Actually, maybe it's not. If you sometimes tell lies then the statement probably still hold true, and therefore isn't a paradox.

Yeah I was just reading this Philosopher's view on it. They made a point it comes down to whether he's intentionally being dishonest. Because "My nose will grow now" is future tense, he doesn't know whether it will, so it can't be treated as a lie. It's like a weatherman predicting the weather tomorrow.

Here’s one. There’s two doors, one leads to heaven, one leads to hell. The statue guarding the door to heaven can only tell the truth, the other statue the opposite.

You only have one question. Who do you ask what to ensure you get into heaven?

The wording is a bit different though, cause last i heard this one it was "one guarding heaven can only tell the truth, and the other can only tell lies"
Opposite might be something different but in the one i heard years ago the answer was that you ask either statue "What door would the other statue say he's guarding"

If the question is asked to the truth telling statue, he would answer that the other guard would answer with a lie/opposite and say heaven.
If the question is asked to the opposite/lying guard would lie/say opposite and say the other guard is guarding hell.

Either way, you take the hell door.
If you asked the truth teller and took the hell door based on his answer, you're in heaven. If you asked the opposite/liar and took the hell door based on his answer, you're in heaven.
