It is a reflection of where we are.. effort was there but we simply dont have the class and x factor.

Our attack can be read like a book.

I do agree on the ‘bounce of the ball’

No matter which way the ball bounced, none of our players were hungry enough to try and get the ball in their hands.

Some of the players were bigger ball and play watchers than those of us sitting in our lounge rooms.

Aekins in particular might make a good bunker ref, the way he watches the play unfold before his eyes.

On paper, our team is still far superior. We just got schooled again by a team that effectively had a $2 Shop spine, if it wasn't for Tedesco.

If Sam Williams is our starting half.....he should be playing George tooke shield.....that’s enough. Continuous improvements which we haven’t done the the last few seasons.....roosters made semis last year, got rid of their halfback, no questions ask....ruthless.....we however give golden tickets to plodders we should have pensioned off years ago

MATCH REPORT: Sydney Roosters bury Canberra Raiders

If a two-goal lead is a dangerous one in soccer, then a 10-point lead is the Canberra Raiders' equivalent. For the fifth time this season that's what they gave up to lose 44-16 to the undermanned Sydney Roosters at Gosford on Saturday night. It means the Raiders have lost seven of their past eight games as their NRL season continues to drift away.

SYDNEY ROOSTERS 44 (Joseph Manu 2, Sitili Tupouniua 2, Joseph Suaalii, Lachlan Lam, Daniel Tupou, Josh Morris tries; Adam Keighran 6 goals) bt CANBERRA RAIDERS 16 (Josh Hodgson, Corey Horsburgh, Ryan James tries; Sam Williams 2 goals) at Gosford. Referee: Grant Atkins.

At about the 25 minute mark of a football game you have to mentally push yourself through the tiredness.

Our players are obviously mentally weak and are not toughing it out as soon as mental and physical toughness is required.

Hard to believe that our solution to our 2nd half fade is to bring in a clearly unfit and out of shape Horsburgh and our oldest player on the roster in Soliola (no disrespect to the man, I adore Sia) and leave our impact hooker on the bench until the last 20 min when the match is well and truly gone.

Don’t worry...
Next game we’ll randomly rotate the forwards again and pretend we had some kind of plan too...

Good presser. Just bad luck. Ricky doesn't know the issue or how to fix it. The end.

Another press conference and yet further confirmation that Stuart is completely perpelexed and entirely void of answers. It is almost tragic to watch.

Actually the shoulder's fine now, apparently. Now it's an unspecified "knee" injury, with an "indefinite" recovery time.

Of course he knows how to fix it - have a better preseason. No one has the guts to ask him how come we don't suffer from bad luck in the first twenty minutes of every game.

Presser was a classic Stuart one. Essentially unlucky and not getting the bounce of the ball.

People are assuming that Sticky doesn't know what the problem is, not that he knows but does not want to air it.

Knowing what the problem is and being able to fix it are two different matters.
