Saints trading up
Re: NFL Thread
Not sure DT is the move there for the eagles
Guess it’s a good long term replacement for Fletcher Cox
But we do need a corner at some point and some good ones are going now

Re: NFL Thread
Boys draft looking like last yr. CB 2nd pick, DT 3rd pick.
I can see us double dip at CB in this round, and maybe look at OT, BUT I want Washington outta TCU

Re: NFL Thread
There's the double dip.
Dont like the 1st line of the description, lanky, angular, good length and bad speed... bad speed at cb... oh dear

According to MockDraftable
two of his closest comps atheletically are Aaron Donald and Geno Atkins...

Oh my.
I might be coming around on this pick... probably worth it for a team like the eagles who are a year away from being a year away

Re: NFL Thread
Very very mixed opinions on the Boys draft. As far as overall and certain picks, I've seen a range of scores from A- through to Ds.
Id have preferred Slater over Parsons.
Id gave preferred Samuel over Joseph.
Im coming around on Big O.
Goldston looks MEH. Another DL thats a bit tweener. Not really sure who is a better option here, but Rumph II edge (Leonard Floyd type apparently), Foresyth OT , 6'9" too (nate soilder type apparently), Jabril Cox, LB (tahir Whitehead type) all on the board.
Wright, another WR converted to CB, and displays more safety like tendencies... oh and slow. Starts a run of CBs, Molden (honey badger type), Melifonwu (Tumainne Johnson type) or Thomas (Kendall fuller). COMEON MAN!
We better be looking at Washington tomorrow. I dont care that he is a gnome. The kid can play. Everyone said the Honey Badger was too small. Look at him now! I want this kid.
A few OTs i like. Forsythe as above, Brown from Bama, Smith from Tennessee esp as he is a run blocker for Zeke, Ball outta Marshall is interesting, as he looks a great prepect but has off field stuff, not sure what exactly, but perfect swing tackle with LT upside and I reckon Hocker outta A&M is a chance, being a homer.

The Jets drafted two guys named Michael Carter, and the one that was drafted second, his actual name is Michael Carter II. What are the odds

There’s at least one guy that wasn’t thrilled with the trade down that led to Milton WilliamsBotman wrote: ↑May 1, 2021, 8:46 pm

Re: NFL Thread
Haha... Boys heard my rant. Grabbed Cox , and jumped back into the 4th to grab Ball. So double dip at LB, and grabbed our swing tackle.
Then "burner" WR Fehiko of Stanford (?meh?) and nose DT Bohanna of Kentucky.

Re: NFL Thread
KC took my run blocker outta Tennessee.
We take another CB, and other who might be a project to safety. Arrrgh. Did have a 4th Rd grade. So end of the 6th seems decent value.

Re: NFL Thread
We take a versatile backup interior guy, Fernoik of Nebraska. Im guessing this is our long term Joe Looney replacement. C or Guard guy. Im not excited, but not a horrible pick.
