The average weight of NRL players has decreased with physiques becoming leaner and taller. In season 2021, the typical first-grade player weighs in at 99kg, which is 1kg lighter than five years ago. While the discrepancy may appear trivial, consider that this decrease has come despite an increase in average height of 0.7cm.

I don't expect to win. My old man has a habbit of saying that "this game" is the one that matters every week. But I'm having none of it. Provided we are competitive and don't implode like we did a few years ago when we let them score 2 tries in the final 2 mins I'll be content. We only need to make the top 4. We can lose 5 games to achieve this outcome and surely this has to be one of those. Not writing the boys off, just trying to be rationale
