Canberra Raiders V Gold Coast Titans
Saturday 3 April 7:45pm
Kogarah Jubilee Stadium
Tickets: Click here
TV coverage: Fox League Channel 502
Radio: ABC, Mix 106.3, 2CC

After a heart breaking loss to the Warriors, the Canberra Raiders travel to the Gold Coast for a clash with the Titans in Round 4. The Raiders briefly closed down their casualty ward. Things can change quickly, after losing Joe Tapine, Ryan James and Seb Kris inside the first 15 minutes of the match with the Warriors. Hudson Young was a late withdrawal from the Raiders Round 3 team as well. The availability of these four players is still to be confirmed. Young was reportedly withdrawn as a precaution, so he may well be fit for next week.

So who would you like to see line up for the Green Machine in Round 4? Tell us your team here and see how you go in comparison to the official squad when announced. We will include the official line ups in the first post of this thread as soon as they're available.

Kris in for Scott
Young in for Kris
Havali to lock

Might also pay to play papa or Sutton of the bench to freshen them up after those long stints.

Canberra Raiders' Gold Coast trip still on despite Brisbane COVID-19 outbreak

At this stage, there's no dramas with the Canberra Raiders' trip to the Gold Coast to face the Titans next Saturday. But if the Brisbane COVID-19 scare grows then the NRL has the contingency plans in place for the Green Machine to make a safe trip north.

At this stage the ACT government hasn't introduced a two-week quarantine period for anyone who has been in Brisbane in the past fortnight - unlike what's happened in Victoria.

All due respect we are not a top 4 team.
We are a top 8 team but we won’t be winning no premiership until this team builds some resilience, losing to the warriors after blowing that lead NO EXCUSE the best teams in the Como don’t do it with 14 me..
Forward pas sir no forward pass we are not up to scratch, and you will all see that in a few weeks when Panthers and Souths give us a reality check.
Would not be surprised if the titans beat us as well

1. CNK
2. Simonnsen (see if he can spark something on the left, Valemi or others must be getting close)
3. Croker
4. HSS/Timoko
5. Rapana (if he can finish on the right, he's handy to have. Especially if we are potentially running Valemi or Hoppa/HSS etc as a wing later down the track)
6. Wighton
7. Williams
8. Papalii
9. Hodgson
10. Horse
11. Kris
12. Whitehead
13. Sutton
14. Havilii
15. CHN
16. Soliola
17. James

I'm assuming Scott, Tapine and Young are still injured and that James and Kris are cleared to play.

Kris was playing the house down at 2nd row before he got injured, strong in tackles and looking dangerous with the ball. I' like to see more of him there.

Few people wanting HSS. He tore a bicep tendon yesterday and will be out long term.
Surely it will be Kris to other centre, young back 2nd Row and I assume Sutton to lock with Lui /Guler/ Horse in

Awful news, he offers a lot more than Simonsson, I would put Semi in.

I thought his carries from the back were better yesterday. Stick won’t make changes he doesn’t have to this week I think, given there will be forced changes

Might need to actually rest Soliola or Sutton. And lighten Papalii for a week.

Kris in for Scott. Young to lock if he’s back with CHN at second row. Guler in.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

We'll have to keep an eye on the travel situation for this game with the latest COVID cases in Brisbane. Realistically they shouldn't be extending and hot zones to the Gold Coast. Can't assume anything though as authorities have always focused on state borders as boundaries rather than regions.

Lui and Havili to play longer than usual first grade minutes to give Papa and Sutton an extra rest if they need it. No one really stood out to me in NSW cup yesterday but a few are going to get a call up. Whoever grabs that chance and does the best with it certainly won’t hurt their chances at a fully healthy 17 spot. My money is on Guler.

I may have put HSS in this side if he hadn’t done his bicep. (Left wing)
