What is TOPTIPPERS?

TOPTIPPERS is the next generation of sports tipping.

TOPTIPPERS revolutionises the standard tipping competition by acknowledging the difference between the underdog and the favourite. Utilising current market trends, TOPTIPPERS values each team specifically for each game of the round. This updated scoring system creates a more exciting player experience pushing each player’s comfort zone.

Along with the innovative game values, a series of bonus systems livens up the game. Selecting four winners in a row activates the Heater Bonus, while the SmugTip Bonus can be used when you have a hunch.

If you’re tired of that one player who always tips the favourite, consider changing the game.

And most importantly, here are the rules! This is how it works: http://toptippers.site/rules/

TOPTIPPERS is the brainchild of Canberra Raiders fan Dean Pollett. Dean has been a member of The Greenhouse since way back when... you might know him as "deanoman" on the site. This is a brand new game, and we're really proud to be partnering with this new venture!

Im having a bit of difficulty signing up.

So I went to sign up, as I hit the sign up button, the app just crashed.
When I try to signup again > It tells me my email address is already in use
When I try to log in > I get an error saying to validate my email.
When I try to reset password > Got a white screen, then crashed

Emailed TopTippers to see whats going on
Feel free to call me RickyRicky StickStick if you like. I will also accept Super Fui, King Brad, Kid Dynamite, Chocolate-Thunda... or Brad.

Looks like the avalanche of registrations from The Greenhouse has broken Deano's app! Just a few teething problems, he's in the process of getting it all fixed. Shouldn't take too long... and he's personally getting in to make sure that registrations are verified etc. Stick with it... The Greenhouse is the first site to go live with a competition on the app, so some glitches no doubt are to be expected!

I’m finding it hard to decipher the rules. And what the numbers alongside each team actually mean for each match.

“Each week players are asked to predict / tip who they will win in the upcoming sports match. As the results of the sports match come in, a player will score points for every correct tip they submit. Not all games are equal, so pay attention and be smart about who you do tip. When the sports season concludes, the player who has the highest score amongst their friends wins the game.”

So what does that actually mean? I’m now confused. Do I tip upsets where I think they’ll happen against the odds? That’s what I’ve done... but now I don’t know.

Battling with the app still to be honest.
Keep getting a constant “loading” wheel spin. Thought I got my tips in last week but can’t see anything on the ladder.

I was hearing that the team is working on it... but the ladder seems to have not been functioning for a day. One issue seems to be that the app needs to get resubmitted to the App stores when problems reveal themselves.

I've updated the app and was able to place my tips but the ladder wouldn't load and there doesn't seem to be a way to look at past weeks.
I'll keep my eye out for another update.

Talking to Deano... the issue is The Greenhouse competition is much larger than the developers expected. That’s why the ladder originally stopped at 100. Now they’ve expanded the ladder, it’s caused the loading problem. If you’re having problems with putting in your tips... make sure you let the wheel stop turning once your get beyond the landing page. Then hit the tips icon. Deano’s developers are working on a fix, but it won’t be this week probably.
