Pretty sure its Pompey that they are impressed with. Can play any of the back 5.
Hiku is almost done.
Turner is viewed as a half, but doing a little training at centre this preseason apparently.

That said, I expect CNK to be a Warrior in 2022

Family ties CNK to New Zealand but won't take him back to Warriors

Despite family ties linking him to New Zealand, Nicoll-Klokstad has poured cold water over any talk he may be the man to replace Roger Tuivasa-Sheck at the Warriors next year.

"It is tough to be away from them, away from footy I'm a dad and it's a little bit hard to be that when they're not around," he said. "The boys at training have actually been giving me a little bit of stick about replacing him [Tuivasa-Sheck] but as far as I'm concerned I'm signed with the Canberra Raiders for the next three years.

Interesting..... I swear his family moved over here when he came? Did they return to NZ?

Yeah they broke up and she took the kids back to NZ.
TBH, I definitely wouldn't begrudge him leaving because I would try to leave in that same position.

Unfair really, but I guess no one knows the story of how that happened, just seems really unfair and I feel for him.

Not sure what the story is with the relationship breakdown, but anything could happen over 3 years.

If that's what happened, it certainly explains some of why his form dipped a bit last season. His confidence went AWOL at times.

I do hope that the borders open up soon so people in his situation can visit family, or his family can visit him, so much more easily. It must be hard being away from the kids.

I’d be surprised if he didn’t leave.

I'm a huge fan of CNK and I hope he doesn't leave, but as someone who has gone through a separation I understand why he would do so.

I'd be not so understanding of it was just to replace RTS.

The final quote in the article is pretty gold. He knows going back to the Warriors he isn't going to be in a position to play in the games that matter.

A long time since we've been the positive in a statement like that.

Yes. The bottom line is, he knows the Raiders are by far a better chance of success on the football field.

I’ll have to brush up on the thread but if memory serves, didn’t you say he’d be leaving?
A statement which is literally the exact opposite of this article?

It looks like the warriors will still be based in Australia for a while so I don’t think he’s at imminent risk of leaving

Technically he is closer to his family at Gosford.
