correct, bloke has been chased out of Newcastle and Maitland comps but his dad's best mate cleared his action in our comp, got chased out of another club's 1st grade team now playing 3rds. I faced him for 5 overs only got bat on ball 4 or 5 times. Called him out after the 2nd ball that we weren't playing baseball, he lost his **** and came after me from there on.

Weather will be horrible but I need a swim in the ocean, hopefully Greenpeace don't try to drag me into deeper water

Dog was going mental this morning and I couldn't work out why. Walked just outside our complex and there's two blokes collecting firewood from the reserve. Both had brand spanking SUVs and both had the chainsaws going. Is this really how some tight **** middle aged men spend their weekends?

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Weird.

I remember softly pushing a ball off the middle of my bat towards cover for a single.
My bat clipped my pad on the way through.

I was absolutely shocked when the umpire signalled a leg bye. This was also a guy whose umpired at interstate level. Although I remember Mike Valletta going off his nut at him over another decision.
