Good win to the Aussies in Game 2. Injury to Warner's groin when fielding. Next match on Wednesday so will provide opportunity for either a veteran or a young bloke. Given we are up 2 zip I would go with a young bloke to give some experience at ODI level.

You'd drop the ODI Captain or move him down the order Matt? I was only thinking about a replacement for Warner due to his injury.

I mean, replace Warner with Green, but open the batting with Carey for ODIs. Didnt realise you meant Tests. Sounds like it gives CA an out for another wk, and Burns and Pucovski open, and get 2 chances to prove themselves vs the Indians. In the A game, and the 1st Test.

On the Manuka freeway, Abbott has a wicket.

From Cricinfo:

Abbott to Dhawan, OUT
Chipped to cover! 132kph, good length, Dhawan advanced down the track to try and create a half-volley, he got there but played a strange shot, just checking a drive to Agar at cover, it was almost like he was giving catching practice and Agar could have caught it with his eyes closed.

:roflmao :roflmao :roflmao

Great commentary that

We the good, the bad and the ugly from maxy tonight.

Good: His 50, at a SR of 150 was a potential match winner.

Bad: He got out having done the hard work. In 2 overs he took the RRR from 8.5 to 6.5.

Ugly: He ran out Carey. Last recognised batsmen. They needed to get us close.

He keeps improving about 5% per season. Still reasonably young.

Debut 99 in England wasnt half bad either.
Not a match winner, but a solid all rounder.
